We came here with another couple and both of us had credit card reservations. We got here around 6 pm, which is not late. When they went to check in they had overbooked the motel and gave their room away. We were told they do this quite often. We got here earlier, and all our things were already in our room, or we would have left with them. We were not happy with the room as there were stains on the bathroom floor, and no bedspread on the bed, only a brown blanket with a cigarette burn in it, in a non smoking room. To me that is very unsanitary as there is only a sheet and the brown blanket. At least if there is a bedspread you can pull it back. The only nice thing here is the desk clerk. We will not be back here.

Older motel. Needs a few repairs cosmetically. Management needs new policies, gave away room when had reservations guaranteed with a credit card. Will not stay here again.

Went to check in, after calling 3 weeks ahead of time, gave a credit card, and when I got there, they had SOLD my room to someone else. They were full and could not honor my reservation. How can they sell the room twice? I was told this happens all the time at this motel. Be careful, they do not honor a reservation.

I had a great stay here. The room was very clean and well maintained. It was a quiet evening and we rested well. The staff were very friendly too. You also get a coupon for breakfast at the diner in front of the hotel. Is a very quaint little place. I enjoyed the meal. I’ve been traveling for the last month and have stayed in half a dozen different hotels and I have to say, this was one of the better ones(I would rate it a 2 ½ star hotel). I’ve stayed in similar star rated hotels so I can say I’m comparing apples to apples. It is definitely a fantastic bang for your buck. I’ll stay here again if I’m in town another time.

I have to stay here for work. Now that the new general manager is here, the property is much better. The old general manager ran this property until the ground. Much as improved, still some things that needs to be done, but for now, much better. Rooms seem cleaner and fresher, a/c units run better than before. Carpets are getting cleaned. Only thing is the pillows, very hard and flat, not very comfortable.

It is the flop house for the Union Pacific crews. The room is in need of paint, carpet and the mattress is needing to be replaced. Who ever made up the room was stingy with the towels. I’m not sure what the ribbon at the end of the bed is for.

Well, if you work for the railroad this is the place for you. The lady at the check in was very nice, but the room was dingy tub was dirty it needed some bleach. We stood about 10min. And asked for our money back, they were very accommodating.

I stopped here before finding another place to stay. after driving for 12 straight hours from Fremont CA, I needed a place to stay. I walked in and I asked if there were any rooms available she said we were all booked up. she didn’t even bothered to check. after standing outside my car trying to wake up. I saw several rooms with the blinds open and they were un occupied. I went back in and ask if she could check, she said I told you sir we were all booked up. I really felt that she made no attempt to check and see. honestly I felt as if I was brushed off. people make it possible for the night auditors to have a job. therefor the lady needs to brush up on here customer service skills. I am not nor have never been prejudice. but the way she treated me was very obvious. Stevie Wonder could have seen it. there was no reason why she had to get an attitude when I was tired and very polite to her. stay at your own risk here!

The advertising ploy for this local hotel is how quiet it’s rooms are. They have a contract with the railroad for the workers to be able to sleep here in between shifts. Generally the service and cleanliness are what you would expect for a family owned place. We did have an issue with this stay in that they had water hammer occurring in our building right at our room. As soon as we told them they moved us to a new room on on the same floor opposite end and the sound was resolved. First room equipment and lights were in better condition than the second. Little non-constant sounds from the fridge, air handler, and the old fluorescent light in the bathroom blinked. Inexpensive and quiet, but I’m not sure we will stay here again.
