One scoop in a cup is $ 3.86. There is a 50 cent credit card surcharge. I would still recommend this place. Great ice cream. Bring cash like I did. Great service and charming décor.

Driving to Solano’s these two past Saturdays have been a dud. «Closed due to private catering». The other past Saturdays the flavors available are few and odd. I’m not an ice cream expert but why can’t they make enough ice cream to give customers more choices and store them at the end of the day instead. If the management reads this review here’s a tip, add more choices and have the top three flavors, Strawberry, vanilla and chocolate at all times.

Been here 5 or 6 times now. The ‘regular’ is never the same size depending on whose doing the scooping. Too many weird flavors, and not enough main line ‘ol time favorites. And the scooper girl with the Hickeys on her neck was a real turn off. Been there, done that.

We are visiting from Columbus Ohio. Some of the best ice cream that we have ever had! Everything was home made!

The ice cream is too good and they make the milkshakes right in front of you. The décor is adorable and the scoops are huge. Definitely #thebesticecreaminyuma.

Went today to take my 8 year old for ice cream. Got there at 5:03 pm and there was a sign on the door, saying it would open at 5 pm. There was an employee banging on the door and trying to get in another way. We waited until 5:15 and still no one came to open the store. We decided to leave and went to Dairy Queen instead. This was our first time there and after promising a child ice cream, waiting, and then having to leave, it was a little frustrating. We try to support local and I understand things happen. We will try again another day and hopefully will have a better experience.

It’s four and a half stars because we wanted a banana split and they had no bananas. There were three of us, they let us taste everything. All the flavors were delicious. Yes, even the rose ice cream… different, but good, the maple bacon was unusually tasty. Pictures of parents and grandparents on the wall was sweet. It’s a bit echo-ey in there, we couldn’t hear each other over the music. Maybe turn down just one notch. I liked the music selection, just a tiny bit too loud. Staff is very friendly, but will not disclose any ice cream secrets. I had the froot loop ice cream, it was fabulous. Since they had no banana for a split, they offered my pal extra toppings. Reasonably priced and delicious! Highly recommend!

We stumbled in on our road trip and what a pleasant surprise it was! The salted caramel was out of this world, and the pineapple jalapeño flavor was unique, sweet, refreshing, and had just the right amount of heat. If you talk with the owner, Sarah, you’ll you’ll find out that everything is homemade… From the ice cream bases that they make on a daily basis to the toppings that they put in them… It’s a labor of love between her and her husband and so far business has been great, deservedly so. Can’t wait to have another road trip so I can stop at Solano’s homemade ice cream!

Not impressed by the customer service. Left before trying the ice cream because the one employee working ignored us. We were a group of four.

Absolutely the best ice cream. The texture and flavor is outstanding. They have many different flavors such as roasted coconut, balsomic strawberry, strawberry rhubarb, sweet cinnamon, maple bacon. Flavors rotate so may not always be availabe… but they will reappear. Prices are reasonable. The employees are very helpful and very friendly. This place is family owned and operated so most likely you will be dealing with the owner or one of the family.

This was super cute and yummy! I got the mint chocolate chip and my boyfriend got the Oreo and the pb&j. The first two flavors were delicious but the pb&j tasted so much like the real thing it was a bit overwhelming and we couldn’t finish it. We thought it would be better if there was a vanilla bean ice cream with bits of jam inside and you could top it with cold bananas and Reese’s pieces! Minus one star because they really could’ve used an additional worker. The girl was so nice and so helpful but there was so many people(Sunday night at 9) that the wait time really warranted a second scooper!

This place has only been opened for 2 months and it is packed!!! The wife, kiddo and I went there on Father’s day and I couldn’t be more pleased. The low down: Appears to be a family own joint that caters to custom made ice cream. The ice cream flavors are not your normal Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla. Instead they do flavors like banana and redhots(Yuma firestation#1), Raspberry and sweet corn, and maple and bacon. They seem to active on facebook and are really listening to their customers. I tried the following flavors: Fresh watermelon: I was not a big fan of this flavor and I think I know why. I am not a big watermelon fan but I love watermelon candy!!! this ice cream taste like real watermelon and not candy!!! Job well done, also I like the face that I can see them using fresh watermelon to make the ice cream thru the window. Maple and Bacon: Wow now this is great. I am always a fan of maple like ice cream but the bacon just takes this to the next level… Wish there was a little more bacon but I might like bacon too much. I will be getting this one again, and again, and again… Cost is 2 dollars for a cone wiht one scoop, an extra scoop is 1.50. Priced nicely to compete with cold stone. Go out there and try it. Just remember to ask for samples because the flavors are not your normal.
