Olde Falls Inn

Even though I grew up near Zanesville, I had never previously been to this restaurant. My dad came here about a week ago and was raving about the prime rib they serve on Fridays and Saturdays. So we decided to go with him yesterday. There was a line out the door and the place was packed – a good sign. We started out with boneless wings-​BBQ and Garlic Parmesan – both were really good, better than BW3’s in my opinion. Dad had prime rib again, my brother had the ribs-​huge portion, husband had the NY Strip and I had the crab legs – they were fresh and really good. The meal clocked in at $ 96, comparable to any other decent restaurant in town. Everyone was raving and we can’t wait to go back next time we’re in town.

Average. Fish sandwich was mush. When we went the service was good but the whole place was full of locals who obviously hung out there all the time and felt comfortable being loud and consuming too much alcohol. I wouldn’t recommend it for families especially on the weekends. It gets too rowdy.

Olé Falls Inn has always been and still is the best place to eat in Zanesville! I love the French onion soup and the wings are awesome. The staff are friendly and helpful, we always have great service. I highly recommend this restaurant when you are in the big city of Zanesville, you will have a wonderful time.

Great food! Best wings in town. Wait staff and bartenders are courteous, friendly and accommodating. I have only had one bad experience, which I won’t mention here, otherwise I would rate 5 stars!

I had pretty high hopes for this place since local friends had suggested it… sadly, it was pretty terrible. Dark, old, awful horrible food that tastes like you went and ate at a friend’s house… a friend that doesn’t cook very well. The drinks were good, the service was friendly but you will never catch me eating here again.

Love this place. It’s a good home town kind of place. Atmosphere is warm, food is great, and the people are very nice! Love the hot and spicy wings and I’ve never been disappointed by any of their soups!

Met up with some friends to have a nice supper in a local pub. Haven’t been there in years, and I’ll not repeat the experience in several more. The service was horrid. Period. Food was so-​so. When I hear the wait staff bitching among themselves about how they are under staffed, I feel it is an obvious long-​term problem. I don’t know if it was an exceptionally bad night at the place, but it was the triple threat of slow service, blah food, and questionable cleanliness. Thanks but no thanks.

One of the best restaurants in Zanesville and one of the only non-​chain places around this town.
Their wings, salads and soups are something that will keep you coming back time after time. Try the taco soup… amazing!
Prices are decent and interior of the building was updated within the past few years. Definitely a place to try (they are open 7 days a week). Guessing you’ll be back if you have the wings or one of their soups!

It is kind of a dive but the food is always really good. It is more of a bar atmosphere but they do have a good menu and the food is really reasonably priced. If the inside was a little more updated it, and a few times my food has been a little bit cold it would have been 5 stars

I have never gotten my food in what seems like a reasonable amount of time here, even when it didn’t seem that busy. My husband and I have been about 9 or 10 times in the past three years. We stopped going because we just don’t have the time anymore.
The atmosphere is good, lots of folks eating and drinking and being merry. There seems to be an overly-​stressed manager always running around, however.
The wing sauce is amazing, and the wings are perfect — meaty and crispy. For sure the best in Zanesville. I also enjoy their fried fish.
I’ve found the burgers to be bland, and my salad orders have been notoriously wrong each time. Overall, with the exception of the wings, there isn’t anything on the menu that I don’t make at home. Doesn’t seem worth the wait.

I really wish I could see what was so good about this place that other people apparently see.
I have only been to this place a few times, and each time the watiress has been friendly and chatty, but the food just feels like I cooked at home, only I’m paying for it and waiting.
This is a favorite place for a group of my friends, but I just don’t see the charm.

Growing up in Zanesville Ohio I spent more than my share of time here. Year and Years ago I played Music In this Place! It was more of a BAR then, it still has the Bar but it is more a restaurant than a bar.
On a recent trip back home My wife and I wanted a decent meal away from the BS chain deals that seem to be overrunning Zanesville so we opted for the old favorite here!
We arrived and as usual it was packed and it was a weeknight (always a good sign) We found the last Booth open and had a seat. we were met with a smile and a menu within seconds of sitting down, the waiter took our drink order and we ordered My favorite appetizers Pepper Poppers…
a when our waiter came back with our drinks we placed our orders, I ALWAYS get the Delmonico steak medium rare, baked potato and salad with the Old Falls famous homemade blue cheese dressing (The best around for sure!) my wife ordered the Rib Eye with homemade mashed potatoes and the same salad… everything came to us cooked to perfection and delicious.
ANYONE wanting a decent Meal while passing through Zanesville and might like to Have a Couple drinks or even shoot a couple games of Pool on their Excellent Pool Tables this is the Place for you!

Growing up, my family lived just down the road from Olde Falls. It quickly became our regular spot. It’s a versatile restaurant that is great for the young and old alike. The menu has your typical bar food: burgers, sub sandwiches, wings, etc. but it also includes a wide steak selection.
Olde Falls is super casual and you get a whole lot of bang for your buck. I’ve frequented this restaurant since I was in elementary school and I can say that it is still just as appealing or even more as a twenty-​something. Take you kids, take your co-​workers, take your someone special out on a date here. You’re guaranteed a good time.

Was excited to find this place based on previous review. Started out great! The soup (French onion) was outstanding. The salad came with a smile, but little else — no onion, croûton, pepper, etc. Just lettuce. The NY Strip was also a little blah as well.
However, the atmosphere was good — neighborhood pub — and everyone friendly. I bet the pub food is pretty good.

Beaver, PA goes West. Dayton, OH goes East. They meet in Zanesville … and a clash of epic dining proportions takes place.
Said another way, my buddy and I met up in Zanesville and through some careful research stumbled upon the Old Falls Inn.
Great service … really good food … and just a fun time at a bar/​restaurant. Everyone seemed happy and everyone had fun. The specials were yummy and the soups were great starters.
Good Midwestern joy. Highly recommend.
