My first time coming here. A friend took me. It was a lot of fun. The drinks are cheap & the bartenders are really nice. The music isn’t too loud. There are plenty of televisions so you won’t ever miss a game. The atmosphere is nice & so are the people. I’d definitely make this a regular spot & will try the food next time I go.

Overall the #1 gathering place in Zanesville for locals… whether meeting up weekly for drinks or hitting the spot once a year when you’re home for holidays.
Food is decent (enjoy their wraps) and drinks are cold.
Would recommend stopping by to enjoy the patio and a few adult beverages.

Went downhill the past couple of years. They now enforce a dress code like they are in a big city and a «high class», «A-​List» type establishment… Which is NOT the case.
The service is sub-​par, the only good thing about this place is they have a nice patio.

Fun place to gather for a bite to eat and a cold brew. I grew up in Zanesville and have known the owners for years. I had come into town to visit family and had lunch set to meet with former colleagues. Upon arrival I saw many individuals from the community and visited with them as well. This is the hometown go to spot in my opinion. They always have food & drink specials. Can’t go wrong with their pizza!
I owe them a BIG THANK YOU because they were the ONLY place in Zanesville that allowed me to dine with my small lap dog. It’s nice to see a family owned business maintain a family friendly atmosphere.

I really like this place. The pizza is GREAT and it’s a family friendly (during the day) type bar where you can have a beer or eat fried food and hang out. I have heard it’s fun at night and they have bands but I haven’t experienced that first hand. The staff is usually pretty friendly and the bathroom is super clean.

The Barn makes great pizza; if you deviate to something else, however, the food is sub-​par. The vibe is alright, with televisions all over the place. The staff is also happy to change the channel to your requested game. The beer prices are relatively inexpensive.

We stopped in here for lunch recently. The first time we had ever been to this place. I went not expecting that much, but I left a bit surprised. Walking in I loved the interior and the music that played, which set the right mood. I ordered The Barn Burger. Of course it wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it was better than I had anticipated. The hand-​cut fries were also very good. Not the best food in Zanesville, but a fun place to stop by. I would go back to try some of their other food.

I enjoy this place because it’s one of the few night-​life places in Zanesville (that isn’t totally creepy, like some of the nearby bars…)
The drinks are good, the place is always busy, and oftentimes there is live music. I have never had the food here so I can’t comment on that.
If you’re from the area, you’ll almost always see someone you know, which could be a good or a bad thing.
The outside patio is awesome and occasionally they have the bar out there going so you don’t have to go back inside.

You’ll usually find me here on a Thursday night after work, but I’ve been here when it’s busy and when it’s not. This place is really big, has a lot of parking and a great atmosphere. It’s very casual and comfortable, and a great place to gather. I find that the bartenders are a bit slow, but I’m not one of those rude patrons that loudly flags down a bartender. St. Patrick’s Day celebrations here are crazy and get a little out of hand, but that’s the fun, right?
They are known for their pizza, and it’s truly good. Thin crust, smothered in cheese, and only $ 5 on Mondays. The Barn is a great place to meet up and hang out with friends!

River Forest, IL
Have been to The Barn on several occasions and it always seems to be hopping. The bar has been reconfigured and it made for less seating. I would recommend it if you’re looking for an eventful night out. Could be a little more free with the alcohol in the cocktails!
