I was driving down highway 98 in Wake Forest on Tuesday, March 24th when a large pickup came roaring up behind me and remained 5 feet from my bumper until 98 became four lanes near Jones Dairy Rd. The truck whipped around me but got caught at the light. I pulled up next to him and the driver had his window down and was screaming obscenities at someone on the phone, gesticulating wildly and obviously incredibly upset. I’m glad I didn’t have kids with me, otherwise they would have been subjected to a torrent of language rivaling a Tarantino film. When the light turned green, this fellow gunned it and began tailgating the poor guy in front of me, later whipping around him and continuing down 98 well over the speed limit. Normally I wouldn’t care about something like this, but in this case the truck had«No Shame Construction» emblazoned on it front and back. I’ve never done business with this company and now I know I never will. I’m not sure if it was a worker or the owner in the truck, but regardless… if someone who works for their company can become that angry and allow that anger to impact their driving to that extent, well, I can rule them out as someone I would want to do business with. I can only hope he wasn’t screaming at a customer over the phone. You’ve been warned.
