George Moving & Storage N American Van Lines Agent

The worst service ever!!! We bought some baby furniture at babies r us for our nursery. They use Urban Express who then subcontracted George Moving. They left a piece from the crib on the truck and it took them 5 days to get back to me, and then wanted to give me a huge time window (a week later) to drop it back off. I had already contacted babies r us, scheduled a time I could pick up another piece, and had it assembled before they would even return my call! (5 days later) when I moved the furniture (an hour after delivery) I noticed they smashed into the freshly painted wall leaving a hole about 6“x4″ and covered the damage with the headboard hastily leaving. (Which explains why they were in a hurry to leave, consequently leaving the price on their truck). I immediately spackled, sanded, and repainted the wall. By the time they returned my call, they said they weren’t liable for the damage because I didn’t have a picture of the wall, even though the headboard to the crib had a big purple gash on the corner! Wow! Please never use this company! You’re better off hiring anyone else.

We used this company because the customer service during the estimate was outstanding. Unfortunately it was downhill from there. They kept changing our move date days before the move was to occur, the didn’t bring enough boxes to pack our house and put our belongings in TRASH BAGS, and then would not refund us for damage to our belongings even though we had paid more for insurance than we were even claiming for our damaged items. What an awful dishonest company. BEWARE.
