Consistently good. We tend to stick with chicken, but all of the chicken entrees we’ve tried have always been delicious. Their fried dumplings are great, and their lo mein is awesome too. They’re farther away than the new China King in Dade City, but it’s worth the drive. The staff is courteous, the restaurant is clean, and the prices are decent. Portions are also definitely generous; we always have leftovers.

We have been eating here on and off for several years and it’s pretty much hit or miss. Last night however was a major miss and we will never go back. Black dead bugs in our food. The families keep changing ownership so there’s no consistency. Terrible.

We have been to this place several times over the years and the food is usually pretty good. About 2 months ago I found a long thick black hair in my fried rice. Thinking it was a fluke and that the chances were slim that it would happen again, we returned. I was rewarded with an eyelash in my food. Nasty. We’re not going back. The situation is way too hairy.

Way better than the place next to my house. I got crab Rangoon, spring rolls, wonton soup, chicken low mien, and spicy bourbon chicken. It was all hot and delicious! Everything had its own flavors and all the fries food was crispy on the outside and got in the inside. I will go back.

My new favorite chinese take out place! Great wonton soup, amazing dishes and quick service.

Very clean, staff is friendly. They are open to substitutions and have more vegetarian options than the other Chinese places in town. I have noticed the other places do not allow changes or substitutions. We eat there frequently.

This is located in the Commons strip mall with Publix as the anchor store. I really like this location because it is clean. And I noticed something that i have NEVER witnessed before – updated, clear and clean food pictures that are posted on the wall. I hate going into Mainly Chinese restaurants and looking at dingy, severely out of date pictures of food items. The food is good. I appreciate that it’s not salty or over sauced. The vegetables are fresh and crispy and not overcooked, which is as it should be. Now, you will need to speak to someone who speaks English here. Apparently everyone does not. If you’re in the area and want a quick meal, give China Star a shot.
