Habitat For Humanity ReStore

Used to love this store. Used to go in several times a month. Now it’s not even worth my time. Prices have tripled in the last year. Prices on furniture are barley less then you could by New for. 400 $ a piece for couch and love seat with stains. That’s insane. Supposed to be helping the community not robbing it.

There’s a sign on the outside of this location indicating it only recently opened, so perhaps this location will grow into being the kind of place that most ReStore locations tend to be: a great spot for getting supplies for those little home projects.
At the moment, this location seems to be having a personality struggle with whether it’s solely a thrift shop or if it’s a building supplies reseller. The clothes, books, and home goods are at the front of the store just as you enter, and it isn’t until you wander into the large warehouse area that it begins to turn into more of a building supply reseller. There are a few things that are helpful for those do-​it-​yourselfers. There’s a decent selection of windows and doors, and there are some plumbing supplies. Overall, however, the selection is far less than other ReStore locations.
The prices are interesting. Some are insanely cheap ($ 1 for adult clothing items compared to $ 8 to $ 10 at the thrift store in the same complex for the same items), while other items become too expensive to even consider (I won’t be paying $ 300 for a couch with holes in it sitting in an open air warehouse).
It’s worth a trip if you’re in the area and feel like maybe, just maybe, they’ll have something you can use. I would stop here the next time I’m building a set for my theatre program if I needed doors or windows, for example. If you’re looking for a really wide selection, however, this location will not be able to serve your needs.

This is way off the beaten path for me. Somehow I stumbled across it & felt I could get 2 birds in the hand. Hopefully find something I liked & help what I believe to be a good cause.
The store is unfortunately confusing. There is not much that they offer that an average person would want to buy.
If you discover something of interest, I personally feel that the item is overpriced. Bottom line I left disappointed & empty handed.
What’s a girl to do? Try to give & help others, but not get ripped off.

This store is way overpriced for junk! People didn’t even pay what they priced for the items new. I will not be going back!
