I like the way everything is set up and I also like the produce. I have happily shopped there for several years but I will not go back, due to the way I was treated by the cashier. She tried to charge me full price for an item that was on the discount table and when I asked her to correct the price, she caught a severe attitude with me. She said that a customer must have put it there by mistake. She said, «These are $$/​lb., Do you want them or not?» I said that I wanted them for the discounted price because she could clearly see that there were 5 – 6 other bags just like it on the discount table behind her. They had them priced at $ 1.50/bag because they were getting brown spots. It wasn’t an accidental misplacement by another customer! She refused to look at what I was talking about and tossed them down as if she was trying to bruise them more. I just want to be clear that I am an honest person and wasn’t trying to pull one over on anyone. I was also trying to be nice about it but it is a bit difficult when you have a cashier scowling at you and speaking to you the way that girl was talking to me. I was willing to pay what they were labeled, but not full price.
I usually spend around $ 30 every time I used to go there but there are plenty of other places that will happily take my money without raising my blood pressure for my effort. I have seen her get an attitude with an older woman several months prior but this is the first and last time I’ll get treated like that. She needs to leave her personal problems at home. I feel sorry for the owner.

Shannon’s Produce has been a staple in Zephyrhills for as long as I can remember. They offer the best locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables. There are a number of jams, cheeses, juices, and sauces available as well. You can even purchase plants for your home! The prices are very reasonable and often cheaper than you will find at a larger grocery store.
Support local small businesses! Shannon’s is the place to go for all of your produce needs.

Great place to find local produce. They have a great array of fruits, vegetables, sauces, salsas, honey, jams, jellies, breads, pastries, orange juice, cheeses, & other items you may use for salads, etc.
They have a good number of plants and flowers for your garden as well.
Service here is excellent and friendly, and there is a good amount of parking and carts.
Right now in January there are tons of Plant City, FL strawberries and Dade City Kumquats.
Great place to do your local produce shopping. I do like how everything is shaded and not exposed to our Florida hot sun.

Been coming here for many many years, love this place, they do have a great variety of produce, but on a rare occasion not the best, that’s why 4 stars. As long as you know how to pick good produce, you are good to go. Their tomatoes are really the best however. Weekends are packed, weekday morning is the best time to come. Prices are unreal, avocados for example are .79 compare to 1.99 at a grocery shop, unless you buy in bulk of course. Highly recommend
