If I could give them zero stars, I would. Took my Mom There for her birthday and we walked in at 8:03. They refused service. Horrible service and rude staff. Bad combo.

Wow, great lil place Blacked shrimp was awesome– the kicken’ shrimp was good but by the time I was done with my dinner, I was really done with it. In my opinion it would be a great appetizer but not a meal. Wednesday is all you can eat shrimp for $ 15.99 but you can mix it up– fried shrimp was good but I was way too full to eat it all as this was my second plate. Onion rings were good and Rhonda our waitress was super sweet never let our drinks go dry and was always asking if we needed anything but wasn’t hovering. Would go back if I returned to the area.

Great local spot, fantastic specials on Friday and Saturday on food. Polite staff, quick attentive service, closes way too early at 9pm though. Even during season and on weekends 10pm would be great.

This was our first visit here. We were very impressed with everything. We were seated as soon as we walked in by a very friendly server. I decided to order pick 2 basket. I got the haddock and oysters. It came with slaw and fries but, I subbed onion rings for the slaw. Everything was delicious especially the fish. My wife ordered the grouper fish and chips. The fish was huge, lightly breaded and delicious. The server told us they have an All You Can Eat special on Fridays, with a live band, seating outside with a full bar. Plan to come early and stay late. They don’t take reservations but, she said that if you call they will tell you how long the wait will be. We can’t wait to try it soon.

Idk how to feel about this place, first off, they aren’t messing around about their portion sizes, which was cool for me because I came in, pretty much starving, for AUCE fried haddock. They let you substitute the regular fries and coleslaw for any side for an additional .99 which is also pretty cool. I got the onion rings and the fries. The onion rings came with their own«sauce» which was pretty much like a garlic aioli with a ton of rosemary, which I enjoyed. The batter in the onion rings was more of a tempura though rather than the traditional beer batter. Same with the haddock. It was lacking. The fries were awesome, some of the best fries I’ve had in a while, they reminded me of beer battered fries because they were so crispy But I don’t think they were. The haddock was amazingly fresh, so I’m very happy I paid the few extra dollars for it versus the other fish they offer for AUCE on Fridays. However the batter just seemed lacking… No salt, kind of bland. They were very generous about their lemons, which is cool for me since I don’t do tartar. Three things about the place greatly bothered me: first off, I asked if they had any craft beer and the server literally said to me «what does that mean?» Is it just because this is a tiny town? So I ask what’s on draft and it was all domestic… She says«we have a lot of bottles» and again lists all domestic. It was a shame. Second, I came in wearing a dress, I don’t think it was that fancy, I wear dresses all the time, granted it wasn’t a summery beach dress, but I felt extremely over dressed. I wasn’t sure if it was my dress or the fact I was the only person there under forty who wasn’t a server… Being under 30 made it even more awkward. Finally, the service was pretty terrible. There was more than one waitress who acted like they couldn’t hear me and seemed shocked that I asked for a second round… I mean it’s AUCE. If you don’t force down the second round of fish why the hell did you pay for it? I also prefer to pick at my food until I leave, unless I have explicitly dropped a napkin in my plate then do not take my food, but my server seemed in a rush to take everything from me as soon as possible. Then the icing on the cake: my bill came out to 14 $ something… I paid cash. Instead of giving me back five ones so I could leave a proper tip I was given a five. There’s NOWAY I was going to over tip for that shitty service so I ended up under tipping with the other few dollars I had. Overall, i guess it’s okay for the area, but dayum I am happy I don’t live here! I am giving them a four based on the food available in the area. If I factored in service they’d definitely get a three, God forbid that I brought anyone with me it may have been an utter disaster! So if service is important to you, you’ve been warned.

Shrimp Shrimp Shrimp! Wednesdays all you can’t eat. The food is nicely prepared comes to the table piping hot! Very laid back atmosphere very casual. Don’t let the size from the outside fool you, lots of room inside. The majority of the staff are friendly and helpful. Our first visit we had quite the«sour puss»! If the food hadn’t been so wonderful we probably wouldn’t have returned. The second visit we had Rita! She is AWESOME! She puts the GREAT in great catch! Definitely a good seafood shack just beware of «sour puss».

We stopped in to have healthy fish dinner. That was exactly what we got. and it was delish to boot! We walked in and was greeted by Laurie«AKA Jennifer» who had a big beautiful smile. They have outside seating and it was a perfect day to eat outside. Laurie seated us and said she would be our server. She told us the specials and offered to get us drinks. I must say service was fast and very friendly. I got a shrimp casserole with fresh broccoli and a baked potato. BF got blackened fish with broccoli and beans. He also got his favorite french onion soup. Food was hot and fresh. We were both very happy we had stopped in!

Being from RI and growing up on seafood I’m very picky, especially with clam chowda!!! There chowda was by far the best I’ve had since moving to Florida!!! The fried clams with bellies, were delicious!!! The fried shrimp was amazing! The lobster roll that the people at the table next to us looked amazing also and will be getting that on our next visit which will be soon!!! An awesome find in a little town!!!

We’ve been here many times now and have always had a good time. Servers are fun and friendly, some dishes are better than others but you get that anywhere you go. Saturday is all you can eat crab legs, which my husband loves! I enjoy the caesar salad and the pasta. Crab bites appetizer wasn’t the best. Clam chowder soup is homemade and delicious.

Wouldn’t say that they even deserved one star except the seafood pasta was ok. Absolutely horrible service and horrible management along with the rest Of Food being mediocre. We thought we would wait a few months so they would work out the«new restaurant» kinks out. Boy was I wrong. From the moment we sat down we were ignored. We had 4 adults, and 2 children. We ordered and appetizer, received it and had to ask multiple different servers for silveware. Constantly flagged down servers for pitcher refills(our server was no where to be found). Guys ordered the AYCE mahi mahi. We asked for another basket as soon as we received our entrée 45 min. After we ordered and as soon as he dropped the 2nd mahi mahi. He dropped the check. Well that just encouraged the guys to eat more. We felt un welcomed, ignored, and discouraged to ever give this place a 2nd shot. We asked for a manager and he was in the back cooking(owner) He had excuse after excuse. Needless to say he didn’t apologize for his lack of trained staff and this horrible experience. We will never go back!

We tried the land o lakes location. At first, we were thrilled at the possibility of decent food close by. However our thrill quickly turned to disappointment. The food in general was simply awful. Some of the proteins we ordered had the unmistakeable taste of freezer burn. The side vegetables were frozen and obviously microwaved, nonetheless served cold. The yellow rice was bland, flavorless, and unappetizing. In their entirety, every meal ordered at our table was unseasoned. The worst part: two of our party members began to feel ill not too long after the meal. The service was friendly. The kitchen however was very slow to get the food out. The skill of the cook operating the fryer also needs to be fine tuned, as the fried food in our orders came out soggy. The restaurant was marginally clean. There were crumbs from the prior party on out table. The floor under our table also had crumbs and straw wrappers. We did not visit the restrooms, so no comment there. The price, for the quality of the food, was extremely overpriced. If you are adventurous, go to whole foods and buy the ingredients to make your own seafood dinner. You would get more and better quality for your hard earned dollars. It appears abother restaurant, «Taste Of Boston» launched this chain. Had I known that before we arrived, we would have skipped dining here. Taste of Boston is filthy and along the same lines of this review. My party will not return to this restaurant. I would not recommend dining here, as there are better options in the vicinity.

Our first time here since the change in ownership. We were pleasantly surprised. All of our food was hot, fresh, delicious & very filling. I had the Shrimp Po’Boy sandwich. The others in my party had Calamari and also the Scallop & Shrimp Scampi Linguini. This was SO much better than the cheap, bland fare from the previous establishment. Our server was great and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The man next to us was eating a huge plate of crab legs and we overheard him say he’s a regular. We will definitely come here again.

I should have known as soon as I heard ‘The live Music’ on the deck… it was not good. ATALL… I ordered the Fish Taco… first of all it should be called the Fish Burrito because that is the size of it… which was the best part of it. Fish was supposed to be Mahi I have great doubts about that. The highlight of my visit was the cold beer & my waitress. She was very attentive and friendly. My guess is they won’t survive another season in Zhills!

The food was good and I thought reasonably priced for what we got. There was 4 of us and we all enjoyed our meals and all had something different. It is easy to miss this place but if it worth finding it.

Nice inside it looks like it would be a good place to eat but I thought the food was bland. I got the pick 2 basket with sea scallops and haddock. No seasoning at all… I had to dump salt and pepper on it to get some sort of flavor. The batter is bland. The wife had a fish sandwich without the bun she said it was Meh. Warning one of the guys with us got boneless wings and wanted them mild it was too spicy for him. He only ate one or two. There was no one here on a Saturday lunch… Other people in our party liked the hush puppies.
