I miss this spot. These are some tasty tacos. I remember I drove straight home last time and this is where I stopped for some pastries and tacos for my early lunch. My mom use to work in the tortilla factory in the back, those were the days. #tacos #yum #childhoodmemories

We ate here yesterday after a recommendation by a local winemaker. We went for our standard menu choice of cheese enchilada and beef taco combination plate. It was amazing! The enchilada sauce was dark and delicious. The enchilada was sublime as was the taco. The rice and beans were perfect too. Besides being outstanding all the way around, the amount of food was just right — not big heaps of rice and beans, but normal portion sizes. And there was no puddle of oil from too much cheese. This place is not fancy, but if we lived nearby, I know we’d be here often. They also had a special of a pound of your choice of meat, a dozen tortillas plus condiments for a little over 10 bucks. What a deal! This place is a gem. Their chips are good too.

As a kid in the 90’s my family would come here on Sunday’s after church, this place was happening. Today the place seems less popular but I will say the Barbacoa brings me back to those great memories, the only thing there is no red salsa and no more of the yellow tortillas. The Enchiladas seem a bit different but still good. Now here is where the 5 stars come in the POLVORONES they are the same ! its a cookie that is so good I bought 9 and ate them in like 3 days. Overall I love this place and hope some day when I have kids they can taste those little polvorones hearts with their old man as I did when I was a boy.

Came from Seattle to experience this dive. Felt like it should have been a dance hall for a sweet 16, with patio chairs and streamers as the décor. Super friendly service and amazing imported Mexican beer. The food — yum, but I’ve experienced better. Mole okay, taquitos o-wee, and rice/beans eh.

I just wanted to say as awful as my previous experience was I did go back with family in feb. This time I was impressed. They no longer had these young people working in the kitchen. This time they were older. The quality of food was 100 times better. Still not the same as when I was little but soooo much better! So I recommend visiting here if you only see the older crew working in the kitchen!

Great Taquitos! Excellent value! Nice people! Kids will love the bakery. Enjoy your meal with an ice cold beer or a bottle of Coke!

I had high hopes but nothing is quite the same as I remember from my childhood. The burrito fritos are still amazing though — I order them with beans and cheese and onion. The barbacoa was really way too salty. I think they just may be working out their kinks still. .. hoping it gets better for my next visits since I can’t completely write this place off as it is the only place to really get dinner in zillah.
