We’ve ordered from Papa’s Italian since we moved to the area in 2011. For the first couple years, the service(delivery and food) was unbeatable to this area. We ordered here a couple times a month, if not more. Unfortunately over the past year, service has slipped big time– not sure what happened, but it’s a bummer. The last 3 out of 4 times we’ve ordered from them, there has been an issue– once they delivered a pizza that had clearly been tipped over(cheese was off the pizza and the entire box was a mess), forgotten our pop, and recently we tried ordering again in hopes it would be better. Guess what? They forgot the salad. Despite having a free salad on our account, we can’t say we’ll be ordering again any time soon. As for the food– it is very good– pizza, Stromboli’s, soup, fettuccine Alfredo, and the Bianco Baked Penne is to die for. The wraps are good as well(they changed their menu a year or so ago– maybe two now and it’s a better variety). They do have a party room to host events. If they would get service back to what it was, we’d be weekly visitors. If you are wanting to try something good– take a chance because the food good.

Had their takeout spaghetti with meatballs last year and the meatballs were so tough that you literally could not cut them with a fork … They were awful. I called and talked to the night manager who responded that they must have been overcooked. Overcooked is putting it mildly. They were like stone! The manager didn’t offer to make good on the bad food. I have stayed away from this place since the incident, even tho I really like their pizza.

Horrible food, went there and ordered a gyro, I didn’t want chips so I asked for fries or something and the girl was like ummm this is an Italian restaurant we don’t have French fries… And I’m like ok so why do you have Greek gyros you incompetent moron. Anyways food was dry and not worth the hight prices

We gave up on them for a long time until we gave them another chance and ordered their sandwiches and Stromboli. They are amazing! I guess I’m being nice giving 4 stars to a pizza place with horribly boring pizza but they do make up for it big time with other food.

Very tasty hot sandwiches. Really wish there was more going on in Zimmerman so I could stop there more often.

I can’t believe I was here this week and last week. The first time I was on my way to Lake Mille Lacs and spotted it out of the corner of my eye. They have the coolest clock that belongs in every kitchen. It’s a pizza and the numbers are pepperoni, it looks ceramic. Also, they have one of the best red sauces in MN. You can also get a half order of spaghetti that I like as an option. On Tues. it’s all you can eat spaghetti served with garlic bread. I got a side salad because I love the blue cheese dressing and homemade croutons. A generous glass of coke washes it down just right. The pizza looked really good and is on the list to try. I like the spaghetti sauce better than other places in the TC, however the meatball is kind of puckish and lacks flavor, so I’ll skip it next time. Don’t have to twist my arm to make this trek.

Had a business meeting in Princeton that went long and we were starving! My coworker tried to direct us to the Zimmerman Bowl but it was completely boarded up. I saw the yellow lettered sign PIZZA calling us over so we gave it a shot. I’m glad we did! We got there around 12:30, seated ourselves and checked out the buffet. The first trip up, there wasn’t much to choose from, just a few slices of pizza left and 2 pieces or garlic bread. However, within 10 minutes there was another order of garlic bread brought out along with another pizza. The pizza was tasty, on thin crust with char marks on the bottom. I tried the canadian bacon and the sausage pizza. I also tried the chicken alfredo pasta bake which was quite good and I had a brownie for dessert. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had but the lunch buffet for $ 6.99 was a great deal!

I was worried there would be nothing up here in Zimmerman when we moved a few years back. Well I was right about that but my husband and I absolutely LOVE this place. We have always ordered take out or delivery. To this point we have never had any issues with them mixing things up. We were pleasantly surprised by this place. My husband is a fantastic cook and we rarely eat out but if we do this is the place for us 99% of the time. I would highly recommend their food. We have had both pastas and pizza and both were wonderful.

Good pizza and pasta. Service is iffy and food is slow but worth the wait. In Zimmerman there aren’t many options but this is good. 6÷30÷2011 — I dropped it a star because the service and management decisions are getting strange. I regularly pre-order pizzas to eat-in because the service land kitchen is so slow. They are no longer allowing that. They are also not allowing any changes to the predesigned pizzas. I wanted one of their combos with onions only on one side and I was not allowed to do that. I was told the kitchen gets too confused and often gets it wrong. I think they need to hire some smarter people. Pizza is still good if you are not in a hurry.
