They can’t even make a blizzard!
SMH.Seriously!!!
I purchased one because I wanted to treat myself and I gave in to all the media attention that DQ has been pushing to sell them (commercials).
However, the DQ in Zion must not have the equipment to make blizzards or do not know how because they got it wrong not once but twice.
I DID go back to return the soupy mess they played off as a blizzard and the one they handed me had a lid. Hmm…
I opened it in front of the girl and it was soupy, had less ice cream and a lot of black sh#* I assume was syrup. I said «really» and her response «they forgot to add more ice cream».
Money back please. lol
The one day, in the past 8 months, I wanted to treat myself and I get soup. Wth!!!

I have never understood why people get food at DQ. I grew up in Chicago with a DQ about 3 blocks away and we never once got food there. We only ordered ice cream. In fact, I’ve never had any food here. The food just doesn’t look appealing to me. Now my friend Brian swears by there chili cheese dog but I’ve never tried one. I did notice that they are currently running a 5 buck lunch deal which includes desert everyday from 11 to 4. So if you’re into DQ food then this seems like a great deal.
After hitting the state park beach, we needed some ice cream to cool off after a hot day in the sun. We searched on the GPS and there was a DQ very close to us. We grabbed a couple of soft serve cones and life was good. Thanks DQ for the refreshing treat!
So I highly recommend if your looking for an nice icy treat then stop into DQ but avoid the food unless you’re into that kind of stuff.

I ordered a ice cream Birthday cake 5 days in advance of when I needed it. The man said it would be ready after 11am on this Monday. I was there at 11:30am and they told me they have no cakes. All of their cakes were sold on Mother’s Day and they didn’t have any others. I asked for the manager and he said sorry we sold them all. Told him I had ordered last week and you said after 11am it would be ready. He looked at me and said nothing. I asked if they could make one, the lady yes but couldn’t promise about the decorating that was someone elses job. Well, even tho this store is closest to me, I can tell you they have lost my business. And they say to shop locally to help our community. Forget that! No good service is found locally!

Sitting in the parking lot, I thought I’d reflect on my DQ experience. My Heath blizzard was good but slightly melted. My food order was initially incorrect. The customer service was fantastic, and they corrected my order politely and quickly, but their burgers taste microwaved… at least I saw that mine was… soggy and nucear hot.
Bottm line: DQ is for dessert. Leave the food for someplace else that cooks sans microwave.
