Great Mexican food at a great price in Zion. The staff is nice and quick. It’s too bad they lost their liquor license but still a great place to be! Enjoy the guacamole!

Picked up a bunch of steak tacos and horchata. Both were the best I have ever had. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Definitely will be back… A lot!

Los Naranjos used to be the best in lake county! Over the years, their prices have gone up, and their taco sizes gone down. As well as the quality of the food, has also went down. The staff do not listen accurately to how you want your food to be prepared. I asked for a side of avocado. I got 1 strip of avocado on each of the two tacos I ordered, and was charged $ 1.00 extra. It’s a nice local joint, but just sucks how much it has changed over the years. On top of that, the wait time is ridiculous. We called in our order just like we always do and they estimate a 15 minute wait time. We waited the 15 and an additional 30 minutes at the restaurant. One of the staff kept saying«It’s coming it’s coming» yet people who came in after us were leaving with their food! It’s absolutely ridiculous and not worth the wait at all. After being a loyal customer for 2 years, I never want to see the inside of this place again. Also, double check your prices. I order the same thing every time and each time it’s a little different. The old man who is the owner, rang me up and I noticed it was even more expensive than usual so the other guy who rang me up to double check his math, gave me a total that was $ 3 less than what the other guy tried to charge me. They don’t tell you about meals so that they can charge more for the same amount of food. This place is a rip off plain and simple.

Best Mexican food in Lake county hands down… Just as authentic and great as the food I am used to in Baja California and San Diego.

Great hole in the wall. Inexpensive and good food. Great guacamole, steak tacos with onions and cilantro very good and fajitas were very good. With the visit if you’re nearby.

Divey but delicious. The chile relleno comes smothered in an authentic, homemade sauce. The caldo de pollo is amazing on a cold night. The tacos are good, and the horchata is usually pretty tasty. I’ve had better salsa, but the Chipotle chile they serve with the food is good. Small place with a small staff so food does sometimes come out a couple minutes between plates, but we’ve never had a long wait.

Came to Zion for my sons basketball game. We came here for lunch. The food was great! Authentic Mexican food. Amazing chicken tacos and steak tacos. The place is not appealing to the eye. It’s not all that great inside, but if you want good, authentic Mexican food than this is the place!

The place itself is not the best looking but the food was delicious and the staff nice.

Some of the best mexican in Lake County, the salsa is toe to toe with any I have ever tasted. Make sure you get extra salsa, seriously. Great specials. The marinated steak is some of the tastiest you will eat anywhere, and they do not skimp on the meat. Give em a try Zion

Fantastic little surprise in Zion. In a place where options are limited, it is easily the best option. The Chorizo and steak tacos were great. The steak nachos were delicious. The portions were very good for the amount you pay. I will definitely be back.

It’s a hole in the wall that is busy. I like the food and the prices are good. Just be careful in the parking lot, you might have someone asking for money.

I loved this place. I was sad to move away from such yummy tacos. It is not a sit down restaurant, it’s good for to go orders. Very tastey and they have a good variety, elotes are delicious too

This place is awesome. I found that the best Mexican restaurants are the ones that look like a hole in the wall place and DINGDINGDING! Loved the food! Moved here from southern CA and have been looking for a place for 2 months! LOOK no more! I got the flautas and the hubby got the carne asada burrito. DELISH! They even have the glass bottle Mexican cokes! YUM def will be frequenting this place I will say it’s not somewhere you get dressed up to go eat but I’m not there for the dinning in experience!

Super authentic. Great salsa. Tried the pastor, ground beef and cesina tacos… all of which were very on point. Sunday is $ 1 taco day making it that much better. Highly recommended.

I went to this place based on other reviews. First off, dining in. I ordered my food to go, but had a good 15 minutes to watch how things worked inside. There were two tables, one with three people, the other with two. For both tables, each guest got their order separately, and at least 3 – 5 minutes a part. The table with three, the first person was finishing up their food just as the third person got theirs. The second person was over half way done eating… Same with the table of two. The place also looks run down and dirty. Like it’s stuck back in the 80s and hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned since then. The food: I ordered Enchiladas, which is what I always get at any Mexican restaurant, as it’s what I enjoy the most. I specifically asked for only cheese and red sauce on them, as I am allergic to raw tomatoes, and do not like lettuce or sour cream on them. The guy at the counter repeated my request back to me. I got home to find they had piled on the lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream nice and high, and left the cheese completely out! That was extremely disappointing. After I scraped off the crap I didn’t want, I discovered the taste was pretty awful and bland. If you’re thinking«You removed a lot of the flavor when you took that stuff off!», well you’d be wrong. I order them this way everywhere I go, and I rarely have an issue with them tasting bland at most places. The only positive note, the guy behind the counter(assuming he was the owner), was very friendly. Needless to say, I will not be returning here.

Hands down my favorite authentic Mexican restaurant. I eat here at least once a week and when someone from out of town comes in and asks me to bring them somewhere good, this is always my first choice. Burrito con carne asada if you’re hungry, tostada con al pastor and a quesadilla con carne asada or just try the 3 taco plater, can’t go wrong.

Stopped here with the fiancé while on our way through town. We were looking for good, authentic Mexican food… and that is what we found! The menu board is in Spanish, but thankfully they have a couple of English menus for people like me. The service was great and the food matched it. I did notice you can order a cow brain taco, that says how authentic this place is. Would come back again if «m ever in the area again.
