Had a good meal for a reasonable price. Nothing fancy but decent food for decent prices. I had the shrimp basket and thought the Red Hook shrimp batter was outstanding! I should add that ownership has changed hands again and it is much better than the previous two people. That is why I felt obligated to post a review because it is the best it has been in 5 years.

My wife and I stopped in on Friday and had the fish fry. One of the best I’ve had in a long time. Very reasonable and good service.

Stopped in for supper. Ordered the sampler to get started, $ 12. The best way to describe the onion rings is «just plain bad» Just a bunch skinny batter with not much for onions in them. The deep fried pickles had almost no batter on them and were marginal at best. The cheese curds were edible but barely average. Given the food that we had to this point, we opted to pay our bill and go else where for the rest of our meal.

Family of 4, kids 10 and 7. I had the fish sandwich, husband had the buffalo chicken wrap, kids had mini hotdogs and grilled cheese. Everything was great. What I especially liked about this place is the exceptionally attentive and friendly service! Feels small town but not far away from the twin cities.

The taco salad is large, filling, and flavorful. It’s humorous to watch people’s reactions when it arrives.
The daily specials are worth ordering.
