Very small vegan/vegetarian restaurant that serves mostly organic food and proudly make their own falafel and hummus. The proprietor is really friendly — he just HADTO take pictures when he saw my bobbaloos enjoying the meal too, sadly I don’t think the photos ended up on Just Veges’ Instagram — and I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan meze plate he recommended. It consisted of warm from the oven pitabread(possibly the best pita I’ve ever had), hummus, falafel, salads, salsa, bulgur, chickpeas, spring rolls and ratatouille. Just lovely. And very filling. My partner had seitan kebab plate and was very happy with that too. Free wifi, hooray!

Really good vegetarian food, have had the Vege Schnitzel & Fresh Coriander portion a couple of times, good stuff… Also got to try their falafel last night, omg, now that was good! Just the right texture and they were really tasty. The guys who run the place are fun too. All in all great to see more vegan/vegetarian options in Helsinki. :)

We ate here three times during our stay in Helsinki. It was the hands-down favorite of our group for evening meals. I enjoyed the falafel, hummus, schnitzel, Moroccan Cigars and the sauces(especially the spicy S’chug). The staff were very friendly and remembered us on our second visit. We loved our time in Helsinki, Finland, the Rock, and Just Vege.

Don’t get me wrong, this place has potential. Small take away and sit in restaurant with as the name says just Vegetarian food. I had the halloumi burger plate. The burger was a bit dry and tasted strange. The fries and homemade mayo were great! For a vegetarian restaurant there is a limited amount of veggies you can get on the side, just the usual suspects cucumber, salad and tomatoes. The humus and some other things i saw looked good, but did not taste them. So I will be back for a rematch I think. All drinks are organic.
