I think the name of this place means Hot Wings. Didn’t know that before I came but we were looking for something different. Small, intimate and casual. Specialty wings, fries, union rings. Located in center of town where there are several other restaurants. Picture a beer and wings shop(though I don’t drink beer). Beware that you are charged per mozzarella stick or per union ring(really???). Came here bc I saw something that said«traditional American» obviously no one has been to America. No marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks just hot/Tabasco sauce over bland ranch by Heinz ketchup packets on the table saved the day. Smallest wings ever… more like Cornish hens and came in a pool of greasy sauce. In a last ditch effort to get an American experience I ordered a Coke which tasted like Pepsi. For those who don’t know there is a difference. Some may have enjoyed this experience but I wouldn’t necessarily chose to come back unless I was just hungry and looking for a convenient place to eat. Being relatively new to Tampere, I’ve been surprised at the number of places advertising hot wings. I heard SiipiWeikot was *the* place to go, so I decided to pay a visit on a Wednesday night with a friend. The dining and bar area on the second floor definitely has a rustic pub feeling that fits the unassuming façade. The place wasn’t crowded, and we easily found a table and placed an order. The beer selection is rather limited — Foster’s seems to be the norm, and Krušovice Cerne for the dark beer. I had one of each throughout the meal. I ordered 20 wings with medium spice, and we shared an order of fries. Perhaps it’s because I’m used to mutant chickens in the USA, but I was disappointed that the wings were quite small. They were accompanied by the usual suspects — blue cheese dipping sauce, celery, carrots. I will say the sauce was quite tasty, but«medium» is very medium in this case — don’t fear the spice here. I’m glad I visited SiipiWeikot, but for me it didn’t really live up to the hype — feels like an average wings place. Worth a visit, but next time I’ll branch out and see what else Tampere wings joints have to offer.

‘The’ place for chicken wings lovers. There is no salad option, everything is deep fried. Locals love the place even though it’s dark and crowded. And deep fried.
