Classics Hôtel Parc des Expositions

I think 3.5 stars is more accurate for the hotel. The front desk was very helpful when we first arrived at the hotel. We were walked to our room on the first floor and showed where everything was in the room. The room was fairly standard, good sized, and clean. We were on the first floor and did have a slight ant problem in the bathroom door area. It wasn’t that big of a problem though.
We stayed here for 4 nights because it was close to a friend who was staying near by. The hotel is very close to the Metro station, maybe half a block, and it has a few restaurants in the area (including a farmer’s market on Friday). We only tried the Comptoir D’Issy Brasserie place which had some excellent breakfast and lunch choices. The area during the day is fairly bustling. At night, I read some reviews on TripAdvisor the area can get a bit shady. The first night we were there was a little surprising how much quieter the area gets, but by the 4^th night, we were walking around the area like we actually lived there with no problems whatsoever. There is a nice supermarket called «Carrefour City» within a 5 minute walk and a few banks in the area with ATMs.
We booked through Expedia and there was a special with breakfast included for our entire stay. The breakfast area gets fairly crowded during business days and there were many professionally dressed people there so I’m assuming they do alot of business travelers as well. The food was fairly standard breakfast options, similar to the Holiday Inn Express. They had eggs (with Cheese in them) and some sausage links. I didn’t like the sausage as I wasn’t something I was used to eating, it was probably even fatter than most of the breakfast sausages. Other options included croissants, danishes, muffins, baguettes and cold cuts.
