Great place for late night cuisine as well as after the club crapes open late friendly staff. Close to Ibis hotel, Moulin rouge on what we call down town strip in the states. With top notch security for the unruly coming in after a night of drinking and debauchery. Cozy and comfortable seating arrangements good for large groups are just a small one on one to dinner for two.

Nice little café. We were wandering around and decided to try this place as they had a wide variety of dishes. Seem to be friendly to non French patrons and speak English which is always nice if you are in a foreign city for the first time. Food was also good. I recommend the French onion soup and the salmon. Overall a good experience and felt welcome after being told to go away at several uppity French establishments.

Since Café Luna was right across the street from our hotel, and open late, I visited his spot about five times on my recent trip. I’m happy to report everything I had here was great. Café Luna made what became my second favorite french onion soup I tried, and I tried a lot,(first being Wepler). I also quite liked their pizza, pasta, and crepes! I tried the café Luna signature crêpe and it was simply fabulous. The ambiance is exactly what I expected from a paris café, with the outdoor seating, the lovely window seats and cozy atmosphere. The service was quite good also(a feat for Paris, since most of the service sucks). By the second time we visited the staff remembered us as the Americans who require butter with their bread and extra ice, and they always delivered. Café Luna does not have the most authentic Paresian food that a traveler may be looking for, but with nine days in France a girl sometimes needs a pizza! I’d recommend this stop to any weary traveler looking for a good meal fast and reasonable.

Everything took dramatically longer than most restaurants. 15 – 20 minutes minimum between answered requests. It was Sunday at 2130(9:30PM). We requested a window seat so we could taken the evening scenery, but were sat at a dirty table. That was fine, but we had to call our server over(same man who sat us) to clean it. We waited another 15 min before he even approached us to take our drink orders(by this time we were ready to order food). My wife ordered some bread and butter to go with our drinks and asked them to please hurry because of how hungry she was. The bread was fine(by this time I did not expect much) and the butter was ice cold totally unusable for our bread. The food came out relatively quick, I ordered the veal, and my wife the Croque-madame. My pasta was lukewarm at best. My wife’s fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for quite some time. The only saving grace was the mushroom sauce with my veal. It was pretty tasty, but not worth 17 €. Finally, let me just say I’m pretty easy going it is hard to get«one star» from me, and i have prior experience in the restaurant business so I try to take other variables into consideration. This place WASNOT overly busy, they did not appear to be understaffed, and they were not very welcoming. All of this combined with the price is pretty disappointing. I would not recommend nor will I ever come back.

I was hoping for a tourist trap where I would be charged who knows how much for a crappy«French» dish. Unfortunately close to Moulin Rouge the sentiment was expected, and greeting me in English just made the alarm bells go off. But I was into for a quick lunch and was willing to risk it. It turned out that I had a nice meal for a fair price. No, I don’t expect cheap, I don’t expect«French Chef» but it was OK. Especially considering Paris prices Not my first choice around(and there are plenty) but I’d definitely be willing to go back again.

Café de Luna in first impressions is enigmatic, and mysterious to figure out. I didn’t know how I thought about this café in the beginning. However, after some time in staying there, I have grown to love Café de Luna. Independent café bar restaurant feels quite magical, and not too pretentious. There is glowing shiny chandeliers on the ceiling, and very wealthy looking seating & tables. Music videos are shown on some walls, and songs going very well to soulful unique vision of videos, a nice background version of entertainment to a café bar restaurant. Café de Luna is right in Montmarte neighborhood of Paris France on a busy colorful street, and especially vibrant pleasant energy in close proximity to a nightlife entertainment zone. Café serves really tasty traditional French food, including coffee, and desserts. I felt in good company, and tons of amazing conversations about life while traveling as a tourist in Paris France.

Terrasse sympa sur le boulevard de Clichy avec un service rapide. Les plats sont raisonnables rien de bien transcendant niveau carte de la brasserie basique. Vins par contre très cher…

Our favorite meal in Paris over three days. Large and cute interior with a large glass walls to view the hustle and bustle of outside. Our service was great, a nice Asian woman. Food was great. Duck was pretty excellent(the French do it well), crème brûlée was great, and the hot chocolate delicious. Escargot was good and served in the shell, which is nice since it’s usually taken out in America.

My family & I had dinner at Café de Luna after a full day of site seeing in Paris. We were warmly greeted at the casual café & were seated at one of the outside tables. The good & bad: The Good: (1) I ordered a prefix menu that included a great caprese salad … my chicken main entrée was just ehhhh (2) My son’s carbonara pasta was served hot (3) The restaurant is great for people watching (4) Make sure u get a table that is served by the cute young Asian girl… She knows how to provide great service! The Bad: (1) Hubby’s pizza was undercooked and too doughy. (2) Service was SLOW… The wait for our order was ridiculously long!!! (3) After our male server took our order and then we NEVER saw him again… never checked on us! Hubby had to speak with the manager to ask where the hell was our order??? He didn’t apologize… nothing! Then the cute Asian server took over and tried to make things better… but it was too late! Food is average and the service is LOUSY! A 2 Star experience!

Visited for a second time and almost walked out. Staff was rude and service was slow. Totally different from previous year. Not coming back.

Green salad was indeed green, but not easy to digest. The fresh fruit salad was only partly fresh; the pineapple and orange came out of a can. The ambiance is quite OK, though. We(my daughter and I) had three courses and a drink for about 70 Euro.

Very safe choice for an American with zero ability to speak French. The prices reflect the food you will get and the service is good. Nothing out of this world about it, but, definitely, a good call if you are in the area.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. We were seated by the window which was a great people watching spot, as it is situated on a corner of a main street. The food was nice, the service excellent and overall a nice experience. Tried a ‘desperados’ beer which was tasty. It is walking distance from the famous Moulin Rouge, which we couldn’t afford to go to unfortunately. Instead we took photos standing outside it to make it look like we had been. ;)

Our tour group went to see the Moulin Rouge while a few of us opted for a quite dinner nearby. We stumbled onto this place. We ordered escargot and frog legs for appetizers just to be adventurous and I’d say they were actually pretty good. For my entrée I got rump steak with salad and fries. The steak came out juicy, just the way I ordered and the mustard sauce it came with was delicious! Others in my group ordered duck and salmon and all liked their food. We also ordered a few bottles of wine(just 18 euros each). The service was great and we left satisfied.

Disclaimer: the owner is a friend of my parents Went there as my father had a work dinner scheduled there and he wanted me to come along. The restaurant is nicely decorated, although there is a large flat screen TV in the back of the restaurant playing bollywood soap operas which I thought was a bit kitsch. The service is very friendly, and the house wines(18 euros) are delicious. The prices are good all around, with a 24 euro 3 course prix fixe with more than enough choice to keep people happy: starters include smoked salmon(generous portions), 6 x snails, foie gras, etc. The snails were delicious and already out of their shells, the smoke salmon was also very good as was the duck foie gras. For mains, the ‘Bar’ looked amazing; grilled whole fish which looked cooked to perfection, my mom liked it. I had the duck magret, which was perfectly cook as well, and tasted excellent. The moelleux au chocolat was soft on the inside, but not as runny as I like it, and served a bit to cold. They can improve on this. All in a all a good place in an area that doesn’t have that many great bistros(mostly known for cheap sushi and kebab joints), so it’s good to see a place like this open up and do well.

Opting out of Nouvelle Eve, we walked down Boulevard de Clichy to explore instead. It began to rain, so we ran into the first café we saw, this one. We were mainly here for cocktails, but they were really good cocktails(except for the punch which was really strong in rum). I think I would try the grog next time. Service was great and they spoke French and English.

A clean restaurant located at Place Clichy(just down the hill from Montemarte. Great coffee and crepes and free wi-fi for customers. The coffee was tasty and fresh and the crêpe with nutella, banana and coconut was a perfect sweet hit. The service was friendly and the management as well.
