Depuis 1986, la galerie expose nombre des acteurs majeurs de ces mouvements artistiques comme Andy Warhol, Robert Indiana, Niki de Saint-​Phalle, Robert Combas, Jacques Monory, Peter Klasen, Keith Haring ou Eric Liot.

Historique

Fondé en 1991.

The Laurent Strouk Gallery was founded in 1991 by Laurent Strouk. For this self– taught young gallerist and art lover, the heart of Paris has always been the preferred location for his exhibition spaces. He opened an exhibition space in Beaubourg, where he decided to exhibit artists from the Figuration Narrative movement (Gérard Schlosser, Erro, Valerio Adami, Peter Klasen, Jacques Mornory, Hervé Télémaque, Edouardo Arroyo, Bernard Rancillac, Gérard Fromanger), the Figuration Libre (Robert Combas, Ben) and the New Realism (César, Arman, Niki de Saint Phalle). The Laurent Strouk gallery is dedicated to promote French art and European Pop.

Even in this early period, Laurent Strouk had already started collecting and exhibiting the works of American artists of Pop Art (Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselmann, Mel Ramos, Robert Indiana) and of Figuration Libre (Keith Haring, Jean-​Michel Bascquiat). When he leaves the Beaubourg area in 2002 to establish a gallery in Saint-​Germain– des-​Près, taking over
