The shopkeeper gets 5 stars, the selection of merchandise gets 4 stars, the little shop and display gets just 2 stars.
Saleslady (owner?): wonderful, sweet older woman who looks through her boxes of undies to find something she thinks you’ll like in your size. She is very attentive and helpful.
Selection: Higher-​end Italian and French lingerie (Charmel, Cotton Club) plus Wolford tights plus a big selection of nightgowns that I didn’t really browse.
Shop: It’s dark and musty. All of the lingerie is kept in boxes tucked away from the customer. There are more mature looking nightgowns all over the place, which makes the shop feel like Miss Havisham’s forgotten boudoir. This place needs a merchandiser pretty badly.

Five stars because it has some of the most beautiful lingerie ever and also out of my and most people’s price range. Window shopping is all I could afford to do but I was able to get a wisp of a piece of lingerie (OK, it doesn’t even weigh an ounce) and actually negotiated the price down to less than half price. I felt very good about that, especially on a street that’s pretty outrageous but always feel compelled to walk up and down because it’s so — Parisian. Plus it’s on the way to the Eiffel Tower.
The owner was very, very sweet and i would go back again because she was so accommodating. I love Paris.
