Perfectly located, gorgeous view, but with service that amplifies the negative French stereotype . A nice, calm hotel on rue de Grenelle, perfectly situated right next to the metro as well as the tour de Eiffel. There are a lot of really quaint cafes and the like in walking distance. The rooms themselves are priced O.K., but with small uncomfortable beds and pillows. However, overall cleanliness was up to par. One of the best parts was that every morning and night I would look out my window and be greeted by the beautiful Eiffel Tower; I couldn’t ask for a better way to start and end the day. I could literally throw a rock at her from my window. On the down side, however, the service slacked big time. The two brothers who are managers are quite snobby. They would act stereotypically snooty and made us wait three hours with our bags prior to check in even though our room was already free. They said they couldn’t do it because of the«low rates». Nevertheless, I still love the city of Paris and besides the service, everything else, especially the location, was up to above average.

Stayed here last year and was pleasantly surprised that I had a view of the Eiffel Tower. That is if I leaned just so while laying on the bed in just the right way. The wifi was a giant pain in the ass but the guy working nights at the front desk was always super helpful. The room was dated but clean which pretty much describes nearly any room I’ve ever had in Europe. Best part is that the Metro station is about fifty feet away from the hotel. And unlike cities in the states, in Paris the subway will take you pretty much anywhere in the city without having to do a bus also.
