Hôtel Opéra Frochot

A nice hotel for the price. Nice staff, comfortable bed. The room is little small in American standared through. Very close to Metro, a lot of restaurants, stores around. Mcdonald and Carrefour, and several very good french cuisine restaurtants. Be careful of the steps between levels cause they are narrow.

The staff is very friendly and knows the area. They provide a warm welcome to guests. I was a bit thrown off by the strong smell of incense in the lobby area but the beautiful décor and fun, bright statues made up for it. The breakfast prices are decent: express 6 € or buffet 14 €. The room we stayed in has 2 lovely balcony windows that open and face the street. The room was clean overall (some carpet stains) and looked recently renovated. The Montmartre Church is near by and I would recommend visiting for the walk up and the birds eye view of the city. If you’re lucky, maybe you’ll see the soccer ball juggler from Guinea: he was amazing actually. The hotel is conveniently located just off of the Metro 12 line. There are tons of souvenir shops and restaurants nearby. The only thing I don’t like so far is all of the sex shops & gentlemen’s clubs around the area.

Gerade aus einem preislich fast identischen aber dafür wesentlich schlechterem Hotel hierhin gewechselt, kann man nur sagen, tolle Einrichtung, komfortabel, mitten im pulsierenden Viertel Monmartre gelegen. Trotz Zimmer zur Straße relativ ruhig. Parkmöglichkeit öffentlich in der Nähe. Preise für Services wie WiFi etwas teuer (5,-/Tag), daher ein Stern weniger.
