Absolutely lived up to the hype!!! Nutella and banana crêpe was the best I’ve ever had! My husband had the ham and cheese and really liked it as well. Great value! 4.5 euro for banana & Nutella and 5 euro for Ham & cheese.

Amazing little gem that everyone should go and try! We had the nutella banana as well as some of the savory options. The crepes were definitely that best we’ve ever had. The savory ones had a delicious cheese crust on the outer edge that we loved. The owner is an absolute delight! You can easily see that he loves sharing his crepes with people and takes his time making each one. He knows how to speak some english so communicating was no problem! The crepes were only around 5 or 6 € and were huge! So glad we found the place!

Small place, but lots of variety. I came here because of the reviews and tried the banana and Nutella crêpe. Seems pretty basic… which can make it harder to make so yummy. My daughter and I gobbled it up! It wasn’t too sweet(like some American places)…it was just right. I may have to come here again before leaving Paris!

Charming little stand with about 5 seats at counters inside. Delicious and inexpensive food, quirky and funny chef. The«Oriental» with cheese, egg, chicken, and peppers was delicious. The crepes are huge! My only complaint is that mint tea was a full 1 euro for about 2 shots’ worth of liquid. Ah well, the cost was justified by the chef’s friendly banter and animated mannerisms. He made us smile after an exhausting day in Paris!

One of the best(if not best) crepes I’ve ever had. There’s a wonderfully polite owner who’s always working the window pumping out these gems. Not sure his English is the best but he knows all the ingredients so don’t be shy. Somehow he always seems to be pleasantly thrilled to make whatever you want. As for ingredients there’s everything under the sun. Fruits, citrus, chocolate as well a plethora of savory ingredients. Breakfast, lunch, dessert you’re set and in such a cool part of Paris it’s such a cheap eat!

They do not speak English here but that is NOT a problem. I honestly fell in love with this place the first time I walked in here. We came the day after as well. Their crepes… crêpe’s POW! The best crepes I ate while my stay in Paris. I think my partner in crime would also agree. The owner/crêpe maker is also very friendly. Forget how bad your French might be. You will be able to make it work. There is no way someone can miss their picturesque blue front. Please, do yourself a favor and stop by. A pleasure to watch and eat… Ahaha those crepes, the gooey cheese inside, the crispy cheese rim outside= Exquisite.

We were staying at an apartment next door wand while waiting for our host had 3 crepes. That’s 3 crepes in our first hour in Paris. They were so good we kept going back for more. They’re freshly made right in the window. Usually a line as he can only make 2 at a time. While you watch him make others you start drooling. «When’s mine?». Finally you order and he starts making yours. Youcan’t believe all that he puts into your crêpe. Then it’s ready, you bite into it. Heavenly. Think we’re going to be eating here a lot this trip.

For all they hype on this, I was very underwhelmed. It was mediocre. Not bad, just not actually that good.

So, you just gooned around Le Marais for a bit and really worked up an appetite, and for some reason, you just don’t feel like running down to L’as du falafel for the massive special. So, how about a crêpe? Well, wait on line for your chance with a decent one. The owner here swirls it up on a pan, applies the filling, and off you go. Tasty, fresh, wholesome, you can’t ask for more.

When I came Paris, I set out to eat as much of the most stereotypical Parisian foods as I could — a baguette, French sandwiches, cheese, wine, tartare, etc, etc. Somewhere down the line, crepes were added to that list of things I should probably eat while in France, as crepes apparently have somewhat of a reputation of being a French thing I guess. Anyway, after wolfing down a falafel at L’As du Fallafel, I passed a tiny establishment where I saw a guy making crepes in window. My girlfriend and I stared at it for long enough to know that we were both thinking a sweet crêpe just might make a pretty good dessert after some falafel. Needless to say, we retraced our steps and walked right back over as soon as we had finished our falafels. We went inside, because frankly we wanted to sit down, and it’s a tiny establishment that probably east like 6 people tops, between the bar and the wall with a shelf on it with some barstools to sit on. The menu consists of a pretty good variety of sweet and savory crepes, and I watched and smelled some fantastic looking savory ones go out before they got to ours, which was a sweet banana and Nutella. It was fantastic, and it cost us basically the change in our pockets, which is still misleading considering the actual denominations of Euro coins, but what I’m trying to say is that they’re not expensive, and you get a tremendous amount of bang for your Euro at this place. The bottom line is that this place was awesome, and if you’re already going to be on the street because you want some falafels, this is the perfect place to come afterward to get a nice sweet crêpe for dessert.

Best crepes I’ve had in my life, and I’ve had quite a few crepes. We had the butter+sugar one, which is great, but the real highlight was the savory crêpe we had with ham and cheese. The ingredients are well-seasoned, flavorful, and I like how he creates a crust of crunchy crispy cheese at the top of the buckwheat crêpe. I wish I would’ve gone here more than once during my trip!

Seriously the best crepes I’ve ever had. Absolutely amazing. It’s no wonder this place has such a long line. We got a savory and a sweet, and my favorite part was the crispy cheese(tastes sort of like a Parmesan chip). Since it was raining there wasn’t much of a wait. I wish I had found this place earlier on my trip so I could have it every day.

Came here once on accident, tried to go again one morning when the shop was closed, and then finally made it when they were open. I honestly am not sure about the hours. I had the banana nutella crêpe twice and a formage crêpe once. They were all amazing. Some of the best crepes I’ve ever had. I loved that you could watch them make it. For some reason, the banana, perfectly ripe, helped temper the sweetness of the nutella — and that’s an amazing thing! It was light, mildly sweet, and oh so delicious. I spoke in English. The staff was always friendly. They worked quickly and efficiently but not sloppy. Definitely go here. Worth the $.

Delicious ! Good music and a friendly chef. We had La reine et la crêpe spéciale. Both were good but the special crêpe was my fave. It was loaded with an egg, tomato, onion, peppers, cheese, chicken and ham. We were also given lovely cups of mint tea. Only a couple bar stools to eat inside so most people get their crêpes to go/à emporter.

La Droguerie du Marais was on my Paris street food list. I knew I wanted it, especially after seeing pictures of crispy cheese outlining the crepes from this little shop. I came here on a rainy Thursday afternoon for lunch. There was no line, but your mileage may vary since there was a short line the next day. My boyfriend and I walked up to the stand and asked the kind man«Parlez-vous anglais?». He said nope and we laughed. how are we going to get our crepes now?! But he knew a little. He asked what we wanted and we pieced it together. Fromage? Yes!!! Jambon? Yes! Champignon? Yes! And just like that, he went to work. He took out his ham and kissed his fingers. Obviously a universal sign for delicious. A few minutes later, we were cleared with fresh € 5 – 6 crepes in our hands. His sweet crepes are good too, but it’s the savory ones that you have to try. Everything he makes is fresh. Eggs and his cheese grater were laid out on the counter. Language is obviously not a barrier for this friendly crêpe maker. He recognized us the day after and invited us to sit inside his shop to avoid the rain without extra charge. I wish we spoke a common tongue, he seemed like such a cool guy.

This is a fantastic crêpe find in Paris. Whether it’s a savory or sweet crêpe, you really can’t go wrong. Believe me I tried both. The prices are right and the man making the crepes was pretty friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

We stumbled upon this crêpe counter after we saw that L’as du fallafel, down the street, was randomly closed for the day. The smells wafting down the street lured us in. We waited about 15 min and ate delicious fresh, buckwheat savory crepes. I ordered the Casbah while spouse ordered the Reine. I could not believe how *light* they were. It seemed like copious cheese was melted inside, so I never thought I would be able to devour it in under 5 minutes. But I did. If you are in Marais and are craving a snack or a first dinner(as it was for us) — it’s a good bet. We sadly will not get to try Breizh café during this trip. Although that’s a more formal creperie restaurant, while this was virtually a street side crêpe spot. I gave 4 stars since I have little to compare this street side stand with.

Leckere Crepes gesucht? ;))

This guy knows how to make a crêpe. One bite was enough to have my mind so blown that I was speaking in other languages saying«gracias» when I should have said«merci.» To him it was probably a typical American tourist butchering the language but my mind at the moment was too preoccupied with how good that crêpe was. Savory or sweet they are made really to perfection. I’ve had Briezh café’s crepes and those are more sit-down, upscale(if you can describe crepes as upscale) types of crepes that are hefty and substantial. The kind you need to eat off a plate. The crepes here are lighter, fluffy like a pillow, and delicious all around. Yet they still are massive in size. Nothing beats that piping hot crêpe straight off the skillet with the absolute perfect amount of crispy sear on the outside. We had two, one sweet and one savory. The sweet Sucre.Banane.Citron flavor(4 euros) is my preference and what really put this crêpe over the top for me was the orange zest they include. That paired with slice bananas was fantastic. I like my citrus and this really brought out the sugars in the crêpe too. We also had the savory Vegetarienne(5.50 euros) with fromage, tomate, poivrons, oignons, olive, and champignon mushrooms. The cheese was satisfyingly gooey and in a generous amount. The veggies were all fresh and it made a savory crêpe that I thoroughly enjoyed even without any meat! So now my itinerary when I get back to the Marais area is L’Au du Fallafel, La Droguerie du Marais, and gelato. Then mosey on over to Pierre Herme clear across town. But thats totally doable because best of all, they make the crepes totally hand-held accessible so you can double fist fallafel and crêpe, crêpe and gelato, crêpe and macaron… the possibilities are endless. Paris is always a good idea.
