Upon a finished team dinner, a few of us branched off from the group dinner and decided to continue the night with a drink or two. Being in a neighborhood that really isnt famous for its bar scene, night life, or really any of that(afterall, the UN is right around the corner… its not really the hippest spot), we were surprised by this joint. its small and had only a few beers on tap. However, as our expectations were set rather low, this was a pleasant surprise. The crowd doesnt bother you. This is not a pick up scene. This is a get your drink and leave me alone scene. Perfect for my taste.(I’m not quite the people person my facebook photos makes me out to look like) The bathroom light needs to be changed. I genuinely felt entering the bathroom was some sort of opening scene for a horror movie. Dude, the flickering light… the dark cool air… k’mon! you know i’m not making it up! Otherwise, why not kick back and have a cold one here?
