We wandered into the Bonnan Bui, cold and hungry after finding our first choice in Cahersiveen closed. We were not expecting much, as the 10oz steak dinner(including dessert or a starter) was priced at € 17.95 and the description did not include cut, age or source. We were both pleasantly surprised to be served excellent and tender sirloin cuts, perfectly cooked to medium rare with a fresh side salad and a generous portion of crisp skinny fries. Two perfect pints of Guinness, priced at only € 3.50 each topped off an unexpectedly good meal. I’ve paid more for less and been happy. The deecor was comfortable, warm and unassuming and the staff friendly. Perfect for a Sunday lunch or dinner.
