I’ve only ever gone here once so my experience is a sample of one. They probably have lots of happy customers. However, based on this one experience, I will never be going back here. This is without doubt the worst haircut I’ve had in some time. It’s the kind of reason I hate getting my haircut in the first place but I’ve never gone online to express how bad a hair cut I’ve had before. No paper thing around the neck, sprayed my hair till it was dripping down my neck and cut it so fast, I thought there was a line of people queuing up but I was the only person there. The hair is different lengths on the side and it’s a weird shape. I’m now going to have to go somewhere decent to get it fixed. Usually I don’t like how the hairdresser styles my hair so I wait till I go home and then wash it and comb it the way I like it and then I’m happy. But doesn’t matter what way I comb it, or what product I put in it, it is just a bad cut. € 18 for that. My advice is to go to Green Rooster/Waldorf etc or somewhere similar. It’s about € 4+ extra but it’s worth it.

I got sick of going to Peter Mark for a € 37 haircut that was nothing more than an overpriced barber job. So I went to a barber and got the same thing for € 19. Obviously at a barber you’re going to get some hair on your clothes, no coffee and no designer furniture, but the haircut is the same. Things might be different for the ladies, but they all go upstairs at John Adams so I couldn’t see. Judging by the steady stream of customers though, they must be doing something right here. The best thing about this place(aside from the price) is the friendly, homey atmosphere. Some of the regulars have been coming here for 30 years. The lady that did my hair had worked there for 25! No appointments necessary but you might have to wait — they are fairly busy.
