Found this Mask & Fetish store in Temple Bar — Basic Instincts. Been looking for a mask for the office party. They have everything u could ever want, from Venetian to full fetish in stock. Found the staff very helpful as my wife took so long to get an outfit for the party. They also have a huge collection of Adult products for when you get bored !. Can’t fault them and their prices were also good.

I was looking to buy a few bits of leather gear and restraints for Christmas, as you do, so I asked around and got the details of a few shops in Dublin. I did visit a couple others, but it wasn’t until I found Basic Instincts that I found what I was looking for. They have a good selection of adult merchandise including a large selection of leather, bondage gear, and even high quality masquerade masks. I must say I was well impressed with the shop. The prices were a bit more than a few other places I have checked, but it is in the middle of Temple Bar, and for the selection and convenience, it is worth it.

Great Adult /Fetish Store in the heart of Dublin City. Caters for the ‘Gay’ market, lots of goodies and even got a Private Members Cruise area. Great selection of clothing, Dvd’s and everything for adult pleasures.

Has anyone else noticed that Dublin has a huge number of «Adult Shops?» Because I have. Not that that’s a bad thing. Where else would Irish citizens buy their porn, toys and lube? Maybe everyone here is just getting laid and being all kinky about it on a very regular basis.
Anyway, Basic Instincts is your basic sex shop selling the standard range of gear. Nothing too surprising, though I found it a bit pricey, probably because it is in the city center. I bet you can find a better bargain in your neighborhood adult shop. You know you have one!
Like Melanie said, the store is well laid-out and bright, so it didn’t feel creepy like some of these places can feel.

Some of the Sex Shops or Adult Shops that you can find in Capel Street can be really dodgy and not very appealing for women to go in or for a guy to bring his partner in to with out scaring the knickers on to her tighter!
But Basic Instincts just beside the Irish Film Institute is totally different. It is a really nice bright relaxed place with a totally cool vibe. They have a great range of stock for everybody and every body’s needs, wants, and desires and it is not nearly as expensive as some other shops in the area.
Their products are new and modern and everything is laid out really well and the staff are really cool and friendly and really funny, they also have some really great tips! On top of all this they have a loyalty card! Yes, that’s right! Every time to you spend 20euro or more, you get a stamp and when you have collected 10 stamps you get a 25euro discount off your next purchase! Excellent incentive to get kinky!
