Central Internet Café

PCs were in full working order, they didn’t charge me much to print a few sheets, they dropped my printing down to my desk AND they were open on a Bank Holiday Monday, when I was REALLY stuck.
The girl working was a bit non-​committal and «meh», but I was in dire straits, so it didn’t bother me!

I go here to make my flyers for gigs and such… nice guys… right on Grafton St… great location… the other day i left my usb 16 gig memory stick there… they found it and kept it safe for me… i got to love that:)…thanks guys… great place to GET THE JOB DONE… cheers. jc

Certainly a top class internet café. The range of services available is great, the pc’s are all top notch and the connection is great, headsets are available for VOIP too, should you need them. Tea and coffee [and some amazing hot chocolate!] are available at the counter on the first floor, meaning you can browse the internet while having a cuppa.
They have a massive copy room on the second floor, along with phones [I have never needed them, but its good to know they’re there]. Printing, copying, laminating binding — its been a life saver for some college projects. the third floor holds an up-​to-​date Gaming centre, if thats your thing, with plenty of craic and fun to be had. the staff are great, very accomodating and friendly — something you don’t see at a lot of internet cafes. Its central location ON Grafton Street is handy too — it’s close to several of the inner city colleges and restraunts, should you be on your lunch.
EmailInternet or GTW [the games place upstairs] is one of the few places left in the city where you can get a good mix of relaxed browsing, important work, and fun gaming done all in the one building. Highly recommended.

All I have to say about this place is — daylight robber! OK, it’s a very comfortable internet café with good high speed internet access etc, but it’s so expensive. If you go in there for a few hours and have a coffee (which is very good by the way providing it’s hot) you could be spending the bulk of a tenner. I was in here one day out of necessity and I was almost having a heart attack at the pace my bill was going up! So my recommendation is yes, go in here by all means. But be prepared to spend!

Okay there are several
but not all of them are worthy of a review. The ones located in Chartbusters are nothing special. In fact I would not suggest you do your emailing in a video rental shop.
The Emailinternet on Grafton is truly worth of praise. The amount of times that I have been in a jam and needed to print or email someone while being in the city centre are innumerable. It’s great that email cafes still exist for all of us who don’t have smart phones.
Emailinternet on Grafton is hidden and you could walk by if it wasn’t for the sign on the street. Up the flight of stairs, you’ll find a cosy room with several computers and a helpful computer guru. The staff here are friendly and smart.
This email café is exactly what its name says: a place where you can get a coffee while you surf the net. I’m thankful that this place hasn’t shut down like others of its kind.

Thanks Alexandra, I never knew the name of this place. Always called it, the place upstairs on Grafton street!
It is indeed handy and very centrally located. With a number of PC’s located in a relatively small space. Its usually busy enough, with students, tourists and people needing to send and email or print stuff off in a hurry such as myself on many an occasion.
As a lot of these places are going the way of the Dinosaur I think its great that their still in business.
