Although a doctors office is probably one of the last places you want to go to often, i was referred to this place when my son was sick and now after a few visits for both myself and a few for my 18 month old son, i highly recommend this place to others. This place is in a great location right near the red line Luas stop near the National College of Ireland and in the same building as Burritos and Blues. This place is a short walk from where I live, work and where my son’s crèche is located which makes it ideal. The doctors I have found very knowledgable and friendly and I was surprised one even gave me his cell phone number when my son was sick just in case I needed to give him a call if anything got worse and I needed advice. That is a level of service I couldn’t even imagine in the US where I am from. I have been a total of three times now and twice I called while I was in route, about 15 – 30 minutes from arrival and they were able to see me right away. Another time I called and had to get an appointment about two hours later, but upon arrival at their offices I have never had to wait long at all. Consultations are $ 58 which is not too bad considering that insurance is not taken here. This would be cheaper than similar walk in clinic within the US. I just reimburse this directly through my insurance myself herein Ireland, which is not difficult. Even without insurance, it is still a value to see an actual doctor with no wait. I have had great experiences here so far and continue to recommend this place to others. They are good with both children and adults.
