Fogo’s

When you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful substitute to the likes of a Dominos or Pizza Hut, you can’t get much better than Fogo’s. Their take away pizzas are actually some of the best I’ve tasted in the city centre and come at about half the price of your big chain options. Only fresh dough and fresh ingredients are used. € 10 will get you a 12″ and a can which is a very good deal. They also do lunch time deals which are very affordable, ranging from a pasta and can, chicken wings/​chips and a can, 9″ pizza and can… all for € 5 which is always welcomed when it’s getting to the end of that long month. I’d imagine the deals are also a bit hit with students too.
I recently availed of their groupon voucher which consisted of 9″ pizza, 3 chicken wings and chips for only € 6. I ate like a king for a week! The staff are very friendly and always seem to be accommodating. Such an example is when I asked for cheese on my chips — which I offered to pay extra for — they mounted my chips with an almighty handful of grated cheddar and never charged me for extra. Cheers guys!
Look, you’re not going to get anything mind blowing from Fogo’s but what you will get is cheap and easy food done very well and most definitely worth the price you pay.
