First time in Dublin and first time here — walked in here after walking around for an hour looking at run of the mill restaurants and touristy food places in the neighborhood. Excellent food — small plate selection is pretty nice and the large plates are hearty. Delicately flavored, perfectly balanced and just the right edge to the flavors for each dish to stand out. I tried the beetroot carpaccio, salmon sliders, Parmesan fries and paired it with some good wine. Very warm and good service. You will not be disappointed!

If you don’t feel at home in Dublin when visiting already, then step into Jules! Not only will you love the warm and welcoming environment, but the employees here only enhance the experience. I highly recommend the espresso martinis but you an not go wrong ordering any drink or food here, you will not regret it.

It was a cold and rainy night, and our family of 5 was trudging towards the Temple Bar area when we spotted restaurant Jules. A quick look at the menu confirmed something more elevated than pub food, and the wine menu was a winner! So in we went. We were warmly greeted by Jules himself. They had only been open a month, and had transformed his families french restaurant into this more hip version. Lucky us! The service was great, and we loved the selection of «small plates». We opted for 2 orders of the pork belly wrapped in filo — which was yummy. They have a fresh & oyster lobster tank — so we opted for the daily special of a split lobster. Lobster was fresh and yummy. The kids squealed to meet our lobster before he was our dinner(great fun). Hubby opted for the chicken schnitzel — another tasty dish. Our only small nit would be that the portion sizes were a bit small. But I have giant teen boys, so that may just be us. Finished the dinner with the best dessert we have EVER had. It was called a bread pudding… but it was more like a melt in your mouth french toast. Oh gads — this was AWESOME!!! Service & wine were great, and Jules himself surprised us with the«Best Irish Coffee» in town(no kidding, it was awesome). Stop in here — say hi to Jules, pick out a lobster and finish it with an irish coffee. YUM.
