La Spa Therapie Malahide

To get some *ahem* things in check, I cashed in on a Facebook promotion for laser hair removal which was € 50 for underarms or bikini. I came in for a patch test and was impressed by the effectiveness of the laser. Now the therapist who sold me my «discounted» package was nice but they do get quite pushy on you buying a package so don’t come here as a first timer expecting to just pay for one treatment and walk out. It’s so not how it works. Because with laser hair removal it takes 6 treatments they will give you a discounted price if you pay for all your sessions at once.
Now me being a simple pleb, I just don’t have € 400 to throw down to cover 6 sessions of bikini and underarm. But being in Malahide, a town filled with em older women who do have the means it’s a great deal. Me? No sorry. I understand you’re giving me a fantastic deal and I really wish I could buy this package but unless my fiancé and I starve for the remainder of a month. I cannot afford to pay it. And they’re like but we’re saving you so much money. I know I know! But I can’t help the fact I don’t HAVE the money! But they worked out a payment plan and I am really impressed with how gracious they were! Excellent customer service!
This all being said the therapist who did my treatments today was super nice and quick. She could tell when the pain was getting unbearable and gave me a minute to collect myself before subjecting me to what can be only described as a form of torture. The coarser the hair the worse the pain…
The receptionists are also super nice and even though I was late no judgement was given (thank you) and even let me have a cappuccino in their tranquility room after my treatment. I thought that was a really nice touch. I know there’s a lot of critics out there regarding therapie but they have all the newer laser equipment now and I personally appreciate the star treatment I’ve received by everyone on staff.
I full plan on completing my 6 treatments and will look into getting another consultation to get rid of the elevensies.
