For a long time i though Lifestyle where the be all and end all of sports stores… how wrong i was. Perhaps back in the day when there really wasn’t that much competition about and people didn’t really expect that much of a sports store they weren’t that bad… but they seem to have failed to move with the times. They still offer what they offered 20 years ago, which is grand, but when stores like Elvery Sports have brought in specialised staff and expert sales techniques Lifestyle sports still just have a spotty teenager and a moany middle of the road manager suggesting that you buy such and such an overpriced pair of football boots because the match your favourite football teams colour. They just don’t match up to the competition these days and it really shows.

I murder runners. No really, I think it’s getting out of hand(or into hand as the case may be). I just love bright white runners, they’re savage. I got a pair of ludicrously white runners in here back in May. € 40 with a free set of i-pod speakers, result of results! Needless to say it’s just three months later and neither of the set work properly anymore. The runners got worn nearly everyday, over long distances and under a healthy 14 stone. So I won’t hold it against them. The speakers however, well they barely survived the weekend. Come to Lifestyle for white runners, shit speakers and Man U jerseys. Prices range from cheerfully cheap to exasperatingly expensive.
