They should call this place Tiny Ass. It’s basically a box attached to a building. The line here was pretty big so I expected a great burrito. It was good but not great. Decent burrito size but the meat was a bit dry. Still, it was delicious and the staff was super friendly. Since Pablo Picante isn’t too far of a walk, I don’t see myself returning to this place.

I’m a chipotle fan, but my god this is the best burrito I have ever had! And they do a really interesting good twist on them with there stuffings. I had the El Zorro pulled beef and I stuffed it well. Super good and the staff are very friendly, definitely recommend it!

Grabbed the chicken burrito, very good but more like chicken tikka without any salsa, so definitely not«authentic» california burrito style, but good effort!

6 € for a delicious Burrito if you are a student. Doesn’t have much seating but convenient for take away. Burritos are delicious with lots of variety even vegetarian. The staff are extremely friendly and even told us where to go out on a Friday night.

One of the best places in town! Highly recommend trying the cinco the fryo! Little place but full of atmosphere and good vibes. Hidden gem in Dublin.

Had my first Burrito from here today for lunch time and I definitely wasn’t disappointed! I was eager to try it out since hearing great reviews, especially the sweet potato topping! When we first arrived we were confused– the layout is quite different from any of the their burrito bars but it was a nice change! There is a set menu for the burritos on offer, and you just choose one from that. I went for a chicken one with coriander and mango salsa– delicious! Although a bit more expensive than your average burrito(€ 6 with a student deal and an extra € 1 for guac) it was a nice change and I appreciated their originality! Will definitely be back to check out the chorizo burrito

very good burrito bar but it is not as nice for burritos compared to many new burritos chain of resturants that are now available

Very busy little burrito bar. How can Something so delicious be created in such a small kitchen? Theres gluten free options and paleo, I really like places that have variety and different healthy options! I really wanted a burrito in a box but they gave me a normal burrito. ate it anyway and it was too busy to ask to change as we had already left. They also have a student option so all burritos for 6 €

we call these hipster burritos. We lived in TX and the southern states for 17 years. Ireland was really lacking Mexican food when we returned ten years ago. The crap that was being served in places was just that. On the reviews here Ive read the food is bland. Im thinking its because they are not choosing the correct hot sauce. There is no way a habanero can be bland. It isn’t possible. People have died from them and thats no lie. This is a great addition to the Dublin scene and yes they dont always get it right but where does? The locations are too small though, thats my gripe. Ive often walked passed and found a different place to eat as it was too full and no seats. Ive eaten in both locations and they are both good. Obviously some people make better burritos than others and some staff members have turned out some average food but in general they are very good.

This is regards to the Little Ass Burritto Bar in Rathmines. My husband and I visited this location weekly after it opened this last summer and have noticed it has been slowly declining in quality of food and consistency. We are big fans of the nachos and burritos and even considered them some of the best in town, however this is no longer the case. I visited the location on Dawson street and it still holds true to the Little Ass name. If you go to Little Ass only go to this location. I won’t go back to Rathmines and I live 2 minutes walking distance. The ingredients are bland and not evenly spread throughout the burritos. When you order nachos you aren’t sure how many chips they will give you or how much cheese. It can also be undercooked or overcooked. All in all, just not worth it. Either make the trip to the city centre or go to tolteca down the street.

I got take-out from here earlier today, ordering what I thought was going to a vegetarian item on the menu. After walking home 30 minutes, I bit into the burrito, only to find that they messed up my order and gave me a burrito with beef and none of the toppings I ordered. In interest of not walking an additional hour to/from the joint I did not go back to ask for a new burrito, making it more or less inedible because I am a pescetarian. The sticker on my burrito said it was the burrito I ordered, so they must have switched my burritos with another person’s. Not to mention that, while purchasing the burrito, the cashier asked if I was a student so that he could offer me the discount. I said that I was, but he had already started printing the receipt so said«oops» and did not offer me the discount, even though it would have only taken him an addition 30 seconds of his time to do so. Overall, a very negative experience. I waited a long time for the order, got overcharged, and then could not even eat my order. Completely unacceptable service.

I’m glad I came across this place at the end of my Burritto journey around Dublin, I know i may have missed one or two but Ive been in several that say they are the best but they just dont back it up! t Its a small compact place so you’d be lucky to get a seat, but given the quality of its food no one has a problem standing around for this place. In my opinion, the guacamole is the true test of any place and its on point here. Creamy with a bite and each simple flavour in there stands out and doesnt shadow the other. The Burrito was so well made and packed with succulent chicken(which can be dry in most places) all the usual fillers and a hot sauce that covers the whole mouth and not just burn the toungue off ya! If its the best in dublin you want, get your little ass down there

I come from San Francisco so my standard of a great burrito is pretty damn high. First things first I’m just going to say this is nothing like a California burrito. With that said the ingredients are fresh, the habanero sauce is spicy as hell, and the chicken is absolutely flavorful and delicious. This is THE burrito place to go in Dublin and while its small location might suggest otherwise don’t be deceived; this is where you want to be for a solid burrito.

I had the Paleo Box which was one of the most pricey items on the menu(8.30 euros) and it came with sweet potato, ancho chili and lime marinated chicken, guacamole, pico de gallo, and coriander which all sounds lovely and let me tell you — the flavoring was GREAT and I get that this was a paleo box so no rice or grains but it would have been nice to add it to really soak up all the juices from the meat and the salsa as the box was just«wet» and drenched with liquid. In addition(again, loved the flavoring) but didn’t feel like this meal was as satisfying as it possibly could be because everything was served super cold and would have just seemed to hit the spot more if it was served warm. Really interesting menu and cool combos though.

Wow… after a long day in the office I was looking for some soul food… to unwind and enjoy the beautiful sunny evening… after checking on Unilocal it seemed that only(for sure great places) kind of upscale places were in walking distance, or the more casuals were already closed after 9pm… And yes, I’m aware of Pubs… especially in Dublin… I was just not feeling like going to a crowded Pub. So anyway, while having a stroll to find a Spar to get some junk food I passed by Little Ass Burrito, which I saw on Unilocal, bookmarked it to go another time as it was listed as closed… and luckily enough… it was still open… so I happily entered the tiny place… got a warm welcome and they explained me the choices… the Paleo Special they offered felt perfect… And I have to say… I didn’t had such a flavorful, fresh, tasty burrito, mixed with lots of lime, mango, avocado and some hot habaneros in a long time… ate it happily outside, watched people and enjoyed the night… can absolutely recomend it — looking forward to my next trip to Dublin for some more!

I have to say, to add to the whopper food in here(I think they might have just about beaten their rivals into being my all round favourite burrito place in town); the customer service just really needs to be shouted out. I was in here last on Friday night, around 1am, so right in the midst of the super whopper drunken hour; inebriated men and woman left right and centre, making it as difficult as possible for the lads to do their jobs. They carried on with smiles on their faces, laughing and joking with everyone, not a bother on them. When I got to take my turn at the queue, they were as polite and professional as if they’d just come on the 10am shift. Good going lads, keep up the good work.

Oh, hey tasty quesedilla! I’m still thinking about you, even though it’s been weeks. That’s got to be a good sign, right? So, there’s not much more I can say about this tiny, tasty place than hasn’t already been overtured, but I shall declare this: I would be unashamed to announce rather loudly, in a crowded room of strangers, that«I’m all about the Little Ass. In fact, I’m going to get me some right now.» They might stop talking and stare. They might even judge. And they can, because I’d have a massive, delicious quesedilla in one hand, a thumbs up on the other, and not a care in the world. Staff are well friendly. This place is boss.

If it wasn’t the worst slogan ever — Little Ass should go with my suggestion of: ‘to get a big ass, go to Little ass’ — simply due to their Mexican offerings being so good that you’ll want to be nipping in here every day! Having a massive hunger on us and being recommended this place by a number of people, we zoomed around the back of Trinity and down Dawson street, spotting it on the corner. It’s definitely not a place to go and chill out in with a large group as there’s only 2 seats inside and a few out but you may be lucky like us to find these free and can obviously get yours to go. A ‘Zorro’ burrito — amazing beef and rice with fresh guac and extras only came to 10 Euros with a water and I was super stuffed afterwards. Nice work Lil Ass — I’m sure I’ll be back again in the coming days!

It’s small but it’s fierce. This place probably deserves a mention for most goodness packed per square metre. The Little Ass Burrito Bar basically consists of a very tiny funky entry with two fitted stands and two or three tall chairs, a counter, the kitchen itself and a garden table surrounded by plant vases outside. And that’s it. You certainly won’t get lost there. As the place is so small it’s easy to end up queuing outside; if you can’t see the blackboard with the menu written on it they have some printed menus that you can grab and choose from while you wait. I had the savoury Cinco de Fryo burrito with the Zesty sauce, plus a very aromatic lemonade. It only took the first bite to see this was going to be an awesome burrito! And so it was, fresh, flavoursome and held together perfectly, it didn’t drip or get soggy. The ingredient combos all looked very interesting and a bit out of the ordinary, can’t wait to try the others. I must say I love the way they use their brand’s image and they have my favourite presentation of any of the burritos I’ve tried until now: they have stickers with different colours and the name of each of the burritos that they put on the foil wrap. The whole experience was quite nice and that burrito left me wanting to go back soon. I loved their lemonade and I got curious about the horchata, I hope they have some next time I go back. For the diet geeks out there, they also have a Paleo option on their menu. We were here for the Burrito Blow Out and these are my scores: 4.5 review for the burrito, which I gladly round up to 5. The restaurant got a solid 4. Two stops to go, but something tells me this could be my southside Burrito place from now on. I’ll keep it in mind! P. S.: Don’t you just love the silly look of their logo?

If they gave awards for the cutest restaurants in Dublin this place would be a shoe in ! Absolutely tiny with room for a couple of people to sit in side and one little table outside. But where they are small on size they are big on taste — the queue outside every lunchtime is a testament to that. I like Little Ass because they offer something different from your normal burrito place in terms of flavours and ingredients mixes with lots of lime, mango and unusually things like sweet potato. The service is quick as the little kitchen is packed with staff so don’t let the line outside out you off !
