Tried only deliveries and food is fine. To me, mostly all chippers taste more or less the same. Wouldn’t differentiate any of them. Since I haven’t eaten indoors, my review on food quality only. As chipper is very common and general in Ireland, I would recommend them for average prices and decent taste. Secret advise, it taste way better when you are totally pissed :)

Oh proper chips and battered fish, I love thee so. I don’t think it’s entirely necessary for the batter to be quite so greasy and I had some trouble getting the little extras(ketchup, milk for my tea), but it’s a nice enough spot.

A good traditional Italian family run chipper. There sadly few & far between nowadays. Foods always freshly cooked & good & hot out of it. Only place we go for chipper.

greasy chips and fatty smoked cod or garlic mayo filled doner kebabs. Marcaris’ chips are always lovely and hot and fresh and although the food is full of fat, cholestral and artery blocking ingredients its definitely something nice to eat after a day of work, shopping and after waiting around for the kids to finish their sports
