The staff were so nice I feel compelled to write this! Very knowledgeable and helpful and I plan to come back soon! The merchandise on sale is top quality and worth every penny! Great selection too!

We were here for a rucksack and inadvertently bought a camp oven too!
I looked at some sunglasses, but the staff were in no way pushy. So I think I will go back and get a pair from them.

I stopped in here today to engage in one of my favorite post-​holiday activities… cruising sales at camping stores. What a treat!
I was greeted right off the bat by a very friendly but not pushy salesgirl, who answered my questions and then left me to browse at my leisure. I was impressed by both the prices and the variety. Although there weren’t a lot of choices within each clothing item for color, there was good coverage of types/​styles of clothes for outdoor needs. I noted that their prices were lower than what I’ve seen in the Grafton Street area and DEFINITELY lower than what I see in the company label stores in town.
There was also a good selection of gear, and the prices on camping supplies were excellent. I saw a great intro package of a 65L backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and mess kit for 99 Euro… and they have all the neato little bags, pouches, stoves and fuels your grubby little dirt loving heart could want.
And don’t get me started on the cool stuff in the Scouting area. I LOVE patches, emblems, badges, and they have the entire range for every kind of scouting I could imagine, including the junior groups. I would love to get the «I’m a Clean Beaver» patch for a couple of friends of mine, so I’ll have to go back when they have them in stock. I wish I had kids just so I could buy all the cool stuff they would get to decorate their uniforms with.
Bottom Line: If any body wants help earning a merit badge…

This is one of the most comprehensive outdoor sports shops in Dublin. They stock a great range of equipment from the big international brands and the smaller local ones too.
Their credentials include being Scouting Ireland official retailer, now that’s street cred in the world of outdoor stuff. Nowhere else, maybe, but in the world of sleeping in the woods and standing in the rain it’s a weighty accolade.
I’m not sure why, but whenever it comes to buying something for the outdoors, I buy it here. I suppose the staff are helpful, but not too pushy, and the prices are on the reasonable side of extortionate.

Outdoor Adventure Store — everything you need to know is in the name really, however I shall elaborate. It serves all of your camping, adventuring, hiking, climbing, running, jumping and general outdoorsy needs.
The staff can talk the talk and I imagine that most of them are kayaking, kiting or climbing themselves silly when they’re not selling outdoorsy equipment. I bought a backpack here about seven years ago and it has served me well through horrible airports, dodgy buses and wild and wonderful camping experiences. Doesn’t look a day over three!
Some equipment may seem expensive but it is good quality stuff so if you think you will get good use out of it then make the investment.

I really like this store and being a water sports instructor I am always looking for specific equipment and help. This shop always has the basics that I need and anything I can’t find the helpful and very knowledgeable staff always do their best to help me locate what I need and have even order stuff in especially for me! How very nice!

I have been going here for years for all my camping needs. Great selection, staff that know what they are talking about.
They also have a range of other outdoor equipment and equipment for adventure sports. They are reasonabley priced.
I got a great 3 season sleeping bag from them last week for under € 70.
