This place is very sweet and perfect for a little lunch on a shopping day. You get a great view of the centre courtyard in Powerscourt and the décor is very quaint and cute, with little China print mugs and mis matching table cloths. I had the Pear and Cheddar sandwich with a mini Parsnip and almond soup, it was all to die for. The bread was thick and soft and full to the brim with tasty fillings. The soup was also delicious and a nice addition for just an extra € 2.50 My friend was vegan however and the menu had nothing to offer him, unfortunately. He ordered the Hummus bagel without goats cheese, which for € 8.50 was absolutely tiny, not worth the price tag. The service was nice although a little over attentive. We were asked if we were ready to order several times by different members of staff before we had the chance to read the menu. I really liked my lunch here and I will definitely be back!

Pepperpot Café made me look forward to being hungover. Wait…what? As I ate the delicious scrambled eggs on a thick buttered wedge of toast, with a meaty giant mushroom on top, and sipping moreish mushroom soup, I thought«If I was hungover now, this would be curing me». And by god I’ll be willing to put it to the test come my nearest weekend. The location is a nice one as you get to look out over powerscourt shopping centre from a high balcony. It’s like the best part of being outside, but you’re inside, caus Ireland! A definite recommend.

I followed Donal Skehan’s recommendation for that little place in a shopping centre. Lovely service, good food, good music: a perfect spot for breakfast before a shopping spree in central Dublin!

I come here often with my Mum, we like it. Food is good, I love the egg mayo sandwich, on brown. Really nice!

This is the kind of place you’d dream of if you were looking to open your own wee café. Such a wonderful location, great friendly staff, super tasty variety of foody stuffs with unbeliveable desserts and coffee. I had the pulled pork, apple slaw with an incredible tangy relish. Honestly, I wasn’t even that hungry and yet I was practically licking the plate! Our party of three shared the chocolate cake which was decadent, moist and most importantly full of chocolate. They have a grest facebook page btw!

#Dublinshopslocal Came back here on a stormy Sunday day for lunch(not brunch as no alcohol) They have a lovely menu with a couple of specials but I chose the roast pear, bacon and cheese sandwich again and an Americano. They serve Ariosa coffee. Beautiful setting. Powerscourt centre is ready for Christmas and it is fab. The staff are always v pleasant. The sandwich though!!! OMG the bread was chunky but so soft and the filling was delicious. You can see why it’s so popular… Wouldn’t have put pear and bacon together but it was still oh sooo v good :) You should def try here!

Finally somewhere that does the Powerscourt center justice. The scones was fluffy and served with lemon curd which I prefer over the run of the mill jams. The sandwiches are served on doorstep slices of bread and jammed full of fresh ingredients. Coffee was pretty good and staff were nice and efficient.

Completely love this place, tucked away in the Powerscourt Centre, it’s the hidden gem right under your nose. Amazing salads, sandwiches and breakfast options; cake and coffee to die for; lovely attentive service — all in the beautiful surroundings of Powerscourt… come, eat, be charmed and coerced into ordering a slice of cake after a lovely breakfast/lunch. You will absolutely not regret it! The pear and bacon sandwich I devoured was delicious, so simple but tasty and the bread it was made with was outrageously good. The coffee and chocolate cake was crazy delicious, I shared it with two other people but secretly wished it was all mine! A fork battle to the death almost ensued with the three of us all but injuring each other to claim the last bite haha! It’s also really good value for where it is and the quality of the food. Can’t recommend it higher really!

I really like this place. The location on the first floor of Powerscourt is great: plenty of natural light, better acoustics than the ground floor, and an excellent spot to watch the world go by. The food is creative, tasty and brought to you by the ever so smiley and helpful staff. I’ve been there a few times now for tea time or for a late breakfast /lunch and I haven’t been disappointed once. Just one gripe, though: your French toast slices need to be thinner, or to be soaked in the egg mixture longer! The inside was dry and with slices as thick as this, it turns it into a stuffy choky thing and not the warm golden moist wonder that it should be. I do recommend the Pepperpot heartily despite of that. It’s a fab spot.

Love love love the food, esp the sandwiches and cakes. But it would be nice to have a little more space at the tables… that said, its a great café. Fresh food and lovely service there today.

Yum yum yum. This place does amazing breakfasts and sandwiches. I’ve never had a salad but heard they are great. Bonus points for it kind of feeling like you are sitting outside even when the crummy Irish weather doesn’t allow for that. And it’s in the Powerscourt Centre which is one of the best places in Dublin City centre. Great food, great coffee, lovely location. Win, win, win!

This place has charm aplenty. Despite the fact that it’s inside the Powerscourt shopping centre(which made it a bit hard to find!), you don’t get the feeling that you’re in a cramped shopping centre. Tucked away upstairs among some shops, they have still managed to make this place really cosy and welcoming. With the open service counter and the kitchen peaking behind amongst the tables you get a feel straight away for the type of place this is, with it’s country-meets-modern style kitchen. So that’s the ambience, then there’s the menu. They served a drink of the week which this week was a Rhubarb, mint & lime lemonade which was pretty heavenly, perfect for a relaxing Saturday morning brunch. My friend ordered a herbal tea with her brunch and that was great too — came in a large blue teapot which was both super lovely and to say the serving was generous would be an understatement, that thing was just huge! Meals were great too, I had scrambled eggs with mushroom and smoked salmon which was done very well and was delicious, friends had a variety of salads, eggs and toast and we were all delighted by the tastiness and the presentation. Served in a variety of mismatched crockery added to the feeling you were eating in your Nan’s country kitchen and just added to the positive vibe. Staff were friendly and the service was relatively fast, though they did bring out the wrong order for me at first, but were apologetic and quick to rectify. To cap it all off, we were delighted with the soundtrack of chilled out feel good 90s tunes playing softly in the background coming from the centre. It was a great way to kick off our day.

I came to Pepperpot for lunch the other day with a friend. She had been before and said I had to try it. It was a bit confusing to find and the space was very small but I found it kind of charming. We were put at a table that was up against another table but we managed to pull our table a bit away from the other one so we weren’t on top of the people next to us. It was fine for a weekday lunch but I think it mightn’t be too comfortable for a date. I ordered the goats cheese and red pepper pesto sandwich and my friend got the much raved about bacon, pear and cheddar sandwich. Mine was delicious, and my friend said the same about hers. We asked for our bread lightly toasted and for the kind of bread that it was, I think it was better like that for a sandwich than it would’ve been un-toasted. Service was decent… minimal but not in a bad way… they were busy and we were just having a quick, casual lunch. The sandwiches were 6.50 I think, which was a pretty good value for what you got in my opinion.

Loved this place! It’s inside the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre building; I don’t think you’ll see a sign for it outside, so look for a grey-brick building with steps and open double doors and pop inside. It’s an open layout inside; kinda feels like an inside market, great atmosphere. The food and coffee was wonderful, as was the service. Their dishes have wonderful combinations, and they have all-day breakfast! I got the special, which was a tuna sandwich with avocado on focaccia bread, from heaven. Simple, but delicious! I’d come here all the dang time if I lived in Dublin.

The faded elegance of the Powerscourt Townhouse makes for an atmospheric setting, and there’s something about the oddity of the layout that I like — the fact that you are having your coffee on basically a landing. The fact of wedding-dress-wearing mannequins just to over to your left like fancily attired headless waitresses. There’s that mix of bizarre and old-world that makes this an interesting place, and as a café that runs along one of its well-worn landings, the Pepperpot hits the right note. Good food, delicious coffee and to-die-for cakes.

Had a very lovely salad here yesterday. Strawberries, rocket, toasted halloumi, and(as requested as an extra by myself), bacon, with a kind of a tangy dressing on top. It was really, really good. Not an awful lot in it though(only three small bits of halloumi, and maybe the guts of two strawberries cut up), so definitely not worth the tenner price tag. It also came with the inclusion of some surprise cucumber which I wasn’t too enamoured with! It’s a lovely setting though, looking down over Powerscourt, drinking out of cute china, with the rain pouring on the glass ceiling above. I would go back and try something else, but just hope to get more bang for my buck next time!

Oh man, I love the sausage sandwich here; just thinking about it makes me drool. Sausage sandwich. Sausage sandwich. Sausage sandwich. That’s all I can really say about this place — amazing sausage sandwich. Also, the elderflower fizzy drink they have here? Yum! The quiches are quite decent as well. I love sitting up here as the space is always sunny from the glass roofs. You may have to suffer a wait though for a seat — Pepperpot gets pretty crowded and hectic busy.

I have been coming here for lunch since I moved to Dublin two years ago. I love this shopping center. You can sit on the balcony and people watch while you have lunch The soup is always a good choice. The tarts have all been fabulous. They try to use Irish sourced products. I highly recommend this place on a gloomy cloudy day. You can stay dry while still seeing the light outside. Staff very friendly.
