2 Hours free underground parking when shopping in Supervalu, € 10 after two hours. They have a great selection of products and good offers too. Vegetable selection is a small but does the job. Chemist across from Supervalu entrance too.

Worst Supervalu, ever! I am in this shop about 5 days a week and they are ALWAYS out of something. from cooking cream, to almonds, to toiletries, to fresh herbs, fish, frozen corn and chorizo just a name a few off the top of my head. It’s actually a disgrace. I don’t understand how a busy city centre shop can be so poorly stocked so consistently.

Love wandering around the fruit & veg and deli sections here. The staff are the real selling point though, they’re so helpful and just ‘dacent’. The food sampling is amazing too, I’ve rarely eaten so well as on an afternoon browsing the aisles in the HSQ branch. It’s how supermarket shopping should always be. On the downside, the selection is better in other Supervalus, but the range here is pretty good all the same.

Huge, spacious with friendly staff and a slightly forgotten about café.
keep the shopping trip short though, the car park is 10Euro an hour after the first 2 for free!

So HSQ is the only Superquinn I’ve been in other than Blanchardstown, I was very disappointed. Ok, so the product selection is good and the store design is quite sharp. I also don’t expect it to have the same bakery and delicatessen counters as larger stores (they’re great in the Blanch store by the way).
The fresh vegetables were in terrible condition. I couldn’t find a good union among the boxes and the peppers looked more like shriveled prunes. I couldn’t find a member of staff when I needed one, the only person seemed to be the women on the register. A couple of the items I purchased also scanned in at a different price to advertised (hate when this happens). Hopefully I just got them on a bad day, but not impressed…

Great layout and very clean — with self checkout counters and friendly checkout staff although they refuse to check my ID (unlike other supermarkets where I can pretend I’m a decade younger than I really am!)
Prices are expectedly a bit higher than the other supermarkets but the quality definitely makes up for it. I dare you to walk past the dessert aisle and not pick anything up!
A good selection of Irish craft beer too — they have my favourite Galway Hooker and Curim Gold :)
