I only went there once and vowed never again. It markets itself as ‘high end’ but didn’t live up to its promise. For one, I found it overpriced. I could deal with that if the service I received was good. But no, it wasn’t. The guy colouring my hair had no interest in listening to me and proceeded to do something different to what I’d specified. I can’t fault them on the haircut itself. But when I’m paying so much for a cut and colour, it’d be nice to be listened to, and(dare I say it) pandered to a little. I also found that it was a little too busy. I was left waiting for long periods of time while my colourist and stylist worked with other clients.

Alright, so it’s a disgustingly self congratulatory conglomerate, that has invented a whole lexicon involving ‘Style Sculptors’, ‘Hair Designers’ and ‘Colour Technicians to convince the world that hairdressing is some kind of creative and integral part of the fashion industry. And yea, the prices they charge would be more be reasonable had your hairdresser(sorry, designer) spent the last twenty years growing the hair for you. But Goddamit they do a good haircut.
