I wouldn’t recommend.
I have been to this hairdressers twice; the first time I was happy with the result and I paid 35.00 euros which was student price.
So with my 21^st birthday coming up I decided to go back again and treat myself. I was really unhappy this time with the result and the price, therefore I would not recommend.
First of all I rang them to ask how much student price would cost me. The girl said she thinks it 35.00 euro but she would double check, when she came back she quoted me 38.00 euro which was fine.
I went to them and showed the hairdresser a picture of the hair I wanted. Basically I wanted a bit shorter than it was as It was shoulder length and I wanted a trim. Long story short it wasn’t anything like I wanted, it was all choppy and layered and I was left with not a lot of hair.
When I went to pay I was quite upset about my hair and then showed the woman at the desk my student card. She then said 45.00 euros please, then I told her how much I was quoted and she said that was wrong and it had gone up in price. I was just upset about the whole situation and I would not recommend.

As soon as I walked in I asked to please be placed with someone who knew how to cut curly/​wavy hair. The lady smiled at me like I was an idiot and that of course everyone can cut curly hair…
I told the woman I was placed with that my hair is extremely thick and needed weight taken out. Near the end she asked how it was feeling, I said it still seemed heavy. She reassured me and I said fine let’s see how it turns out.
But the next day (when I styled it myself) I realised that not only was hardly any weight taken out… But she basically cut my hair in 2 lengths! The back was fine… textured throughout. But the sides… Yikes! There’s basically a long bottom part and then *3 inches* above that is a second thick section of hair.
I end up looking like I have a tube of hair around the middle of my head with a second long dangly part below!!!
*sigh* The hunt for someone who can cut curly hair in Dublin continues.

After 14 years in Dublin and in desperate search for a good hairdresser, I have finally found The One! I’ve never left so happy with a new haircut. My stylist Rachel was so friendly and really listened to what I had in mind. She gave plenty of advise as well.
The place itself has three floors, and they also do beauty treatments etc. Everyone who works there seems to really enjoy their job and the atmosphere was buzzy and happy and relaxed at the same time. They really care for their customers.
I will be back next month, this time to get my colour done.
Highly recommended!

Nice, quick service, no complains. However if you are on a living social/​groupon, etc. voucher you wont get the same treatment like usually which is not mentioned on the voucher of course, example: you wont get the best stylists and best hair treatment. Very busy place so it may confirm that it is a right spot to get your hair done!

Love the beauticians here. So friendly and always very reasonably priced.

After previously been butchered I went back to my stylist Darragh, who’s a real artist. I arrived on time for my appointment and was greeted right away. I explained my dilemma to him and he straight suggested kinda what I had in mind myself. He washed and conditioned my hair and talked my through everything he was going to do. My hair turned out amazing, his attention to detail is second to none. And no silly chit chat either! 5 stars from me!
The chairs in the washing area have in-​built massage functions so that’s an extra treat btw!

This is a great spot. The staff are always really friendly, it’s centrally located, and the prices seem reasonable enough.
I can’t comment on the hair as I’ve only been to the beauty salon downstairs. Both times I’ve had the 3 day individual lashes applied. It’s 15 euro and definitely would last a good two days. They do start to get pretty uncomfortable after that point, so worth lashing a load of baby oil on them then and getting those feckers off. (The things we do!) To be honest about the place, it’s not luxury, it’s basic enough, so it’s more for getting prettied up rather than relaxing — i.e. for your nails or lashes, definitely not a massage.

This is a bit of a muddled review, you’ve been forewarned. I went in here just to change it up from my usual salon. I’d heard good things and thought I’d give it a go. I wanted a simple cut and said as much, but the stylist spent the whole time telling me how bad my colour was, and how it was such a pity that it had been ‘messed up’ so bad. I didn’t once say that I didn’t like my colour at all, he just seemed to take umbridge with it. I spent the 30 minutes I was there taking loads of insults and he blow dried my hair to make me look like the mother from the Brady Bunch but when I washed and styled it myself I realised that I loved the cut.
So all in all… I ended up with a good product but the service was pretty much atrocious! I was kinda thrown into the chair aswell and not once was I asked if everything was going okay… in the Style Club they really REALLY take care of their clients but here my hair was washed with cold water and there wasn’t a cup of coffee or a magazine in site. I’m still confused.

I used to use a competitor of Ultimate Hair and Beauty until I realised that not only were they a hairdressers in dublin for women but also a hairdressers for men in dublin. I had my haircut by Luke who from what I heard is an award winning hairdresser in Ireland, whilst the mens hairdressers is hidden away downstairs im glad that I went to Utlimate Hair & Beauty as Luke talked me through various concerns about my hair, gave me some tips and pointed me in the right direction to products that I should be using, even though the salon doesnt sell them themselves. Since having Luke cut my hair i’m now a new loyal customer to the salon.

After having a haircut the other week I booked in here for their going out package with a bit of a substitution. I wanted a wash and blow dry, false lashes and my nails done. When I came in on the morning I was booked in for a lash tint rather than falsies and the beautician who was there did not do them — so why 5 stars? well I always think the measure of customer service is not that no mistakes are made (we’re all human after all) but how the staff react when mistakes are made.
It was an important day for me and I really had my heart set on the lashes!
The beautician was an absolute doll. She did my nails, sent me to get my hair done, and found someone to do my lashes in the meantime. Then she whisked me away and at no extra charged threaded my brows. She just did a quick neaten. On top of that she told me that the package I had booked was not really a saving due to my substitution (falsies instead of a lash tint) and put me down for the cheaper option.
I really couldn’t have been happier with the outcome.
