They have free wi-​fi, 6 PCs, some desk.

The staff, for the most part, are most knowledgeable and helpful and I would recommend this library to any serious student. As a postgrad in history I found that many of the books I needed to consult were in the library system or available in other systems. Staff were most helpful in tracing books and sourcing them. Once traced the public libraries tend to be more relaxed than college libraries in their lending policies.

A nice library and most of the staff are friendly and helpful. I have been going to a book club here (we need more members) and once you get over the fact that it is okay to talk in the library it is a good setting.
They also have a seperate room where they keep Genealogy books of reference which you need to ask about as it is hidden.
There is talk of moving the library to another location and I cannot decide if this is a good or a bad thing. I guess time will tell.

Fine as a library, though it can feel a bit cavernous once inside. Maybe cavernous isn’t strong enough, if Bruce Wayne lived in Dun Laoghaire this is what his library would look like.
But a good selection and free wifi are not to be sneered at. It really is a good library. Which is part of the reason why the opening hours are so infuriating, how are these hours convenient for anyone?
I tried studying here for my Leaving, it wasn’t worth the stress. I gave up on my third attempt.

The is Library looks magnificent from the outside and it is very nice inside as well.
The place is nice and big and really well laid out. They offer all sorts of books as well as movies, cds and internet.
The staff are very helpful and are willing to recommend books to you and help you find whatever it is you need. Or you can use the computers to find what you need, this is very handy becuase if what you want is not in Dun Laoighaire it tells you what other nearby libraries have what you want in stock
The location is perfect, right in the centre of Dun Laoghaire.
