Howth DART Station

This is a very confusing station, normally with the DART you have to use your ticket to get out of the station here you just walk out without use of the purchased ticket. The same is when you enter the station. You might need a ticket to exit in the town but then again it is easy to just jump out at a station that does not always have someone staying at the station.
Also the station really smells, either it was urine or it was throw up, it was reeking and very unpleasant. And it was not just the smell but it is an end station so when you leave the train a lot of people exit at the same time and it takes you a few minutes before you can exit the station and you are stuck with the horrible smell.
If it was not for the fact that the DART is the most convenient way to get to Howth for us I would not go to this station.

This endpoint station on the DART is located in the heart of the main shopping/​eating area of Howth and is a good meeting point for people who are starting a hike of the hills and coastline of Howth.
Right around the station you have a few pubs, a lot of eateries and a bunch of boats.
Someone needs to clean something in/​near the station cause it was definitely smelly. (–1 star)
At least you know you can’t go the wrong way from this station as it ONLY heads back towards the City Center. :-)
