Wine of the Glen

Okay, first of all, I just have to admit that I’m not much of a wine person. (Heck, I’m not much of an alcohol person at all, if we’re being honest here.) Which is why you should pay attention to the fact that I’m reviewing a winery.
Annnd I should also mention that I haven’t actually stepped foot inside the Wine of the Glen building. So why the review? Because they distribute their wine in other places in the Ireland and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to tell people about it!
I had a glass of the Strawberry Blush (rose wine) at Stonecutters Kitchen in Clare and my heart stopped. It was gentle, and light and delicious. I wish I had purchased a bottle or four. (This coming from a non-​drinker!)
So if you’re visiting Ireland or will be in the near future (or heck, maybe you live there?) and you want to taste some local wine– head over to the Wine of the Glen website and check their distributors list. I know for a fact it’s carried at the Cliffs of Moher visitor center and Stonecutters Kitchen nearby.
