Amazing food and the owner was super friendly! Highly recommended… The mussels, prawns, and haddock were all very fresh. Perfect if you’re near Kylemore abbey or Connemara… The real deal is at Paddy Coyne’s!

I can’t believe how wonderful the staff and food was! The epitome of Irish hospitality! When I think of a pub in the US, food isn’t what come to mind. This place redefined pub food for me! 5 stars for the delicious food and 5 stars for the people and service.

Just plain delicious food and warm atmosphere. The steak with garlic butter was outstanding, served with sautéed mushroom & onion, and cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Friendly service but be advised it’s cash only.

Die Muscheln als Starter haben wir uns zu zweit geteilt und waren beide sehr zufrieden! Absolut begeistert waren wir dann von unserem Hauptgang, Wild Atlantic Lachs mit grünem Spargel. Der Lachs war butterzart und sehr aromatisch. Die zwei Stangen Spargel waren etwas dürftig aber es gab auch noch Kartoffeln und etwas Gemüse dazu.

Dined here last week with my fiancé. It’s a lovely little cozy country pub full of charm. I ordered the prawn cocktail to start which had lovely big juicy prawns but had very little Marie Rose sauce & I had to ask for more. I had the sirloin for main which was cooked perfectly medium/rare but the onion accompaniment was raw. Fiancé had goats cheese to start & a burger for main, both were pretty good but when she asked for some mayonnaise she was told there was none left. Explains the lack of sauce for my prawns. They also had no brown bread for my starter either just brown scones which I’m sorry just aren’t the same thing. Service was attentive & very friendly. Overall a mixed bag really.
