Nu Murzill’ Sapurito

Cute little place with a good atmosphere. Friendly staff who didn’t make us feel bad that we can’t speak Italian. Had several appetizers including caprese salad, squid salad, and mussels before sharing a few pizzas. All simple and tasty! We also had beer, wine, and of course limoncello… delicious. Not a fancy place but having just arrived it was perfect for a late casual dinner with friends. You also cannot beat the price!

Need a bite to eat and wifi access. This place is up a small land and only has a handful of tables. The pizza came quick and was ok. The crust was good but the sauce was weak. But the prices make up for any laking flavor.

I searched high and low going up and down side streets before selecting the pizzeria for my first night in Naples. And I’m so glad I stumbled across this one. The absolute PERFECT pizza. Inexpensive. I got the Regina, which is Pizza Margherita, but with buffalo mozz. Super thin, crust was soft and fluffy and perfectly cooked, no burnt edges, San Marzano sauce. I still dream about. I happily returned for a repeat performance. Seriously, dreaming about it now.
ok, one complaint. I can’t remember the name of it to save my life!!! It doesn’t really roll off the tongue. The only way I found it was my credit card statement.

Das Nu Murzill‘Sapurito ist das beste und echteste Restaurant in ehemaligem spanischem Viertel nah am Hafen Beverello in Napoli. Durch einen Zufall sind wir vor 4 Jahren auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen, da es in einer Seitengasse mit deutlichem Anstieg liegt.
Seitdem esse ich hier immer bei Anreise in Neapel und bei meiner Abreise. Ich empfehle jede sich hier mal etwas zu trauen. Esst hier keine Pizza (Dafür gibt es Pizzerien, obwohl sie hier auch lecker ist), sondern probiert mal die verschiedenen Gerichte aus. Vor allem die Fischgerichte sind supergeil, um es mal wortwörtlich zu sagen. Meine Empfehlung: Polpo Insalata
Auch geht ein gemischter Vino Frizzante in der Karaffe auf Wunsch mit Pfirsich auch gut runter. Es empfiehlt sich wie überall in Italien, wenn es ein echtes italienisches Restaurant ist, ein gewisser GRUNDWORTSCHATZ an ITALIENISCH. Hier kann nur selten jemand englisch, also quält euch nicht und nicht die Menschen hier.

This was the first pizzeria I visited in Napoli while I was there doing research. It is a small and intimate place, like most pizzerias and ristorantes in the city, and the prices were extremely good! While I was in Napoli I decided to try pizza from as many different pizzerias as I could in a search for the best, see.
And, to be honest, this place had some of the best pizza I’ve ever had — definitely top five — not to mention their vino added a whole lot more enjoyment to my evening. For the price, this place really is hard to beat. If you find yourself in the Spanish Quarter, I highly recommend you go check it out.
