Cremeria alla Scala

near the main piazza in the lovely city of Ostuni (in Brindisi Puglia Italy), down the stairs across from the statue of the Pope, is a artfully designed small cremeria (treasured artisan handmade gelato shop). the charming bi-​lingual and fully enthusiastic man behind the counter is more than thrilled to give you a taste before committing to your choice of flavors. all looked gorgeous, fresh, creamy and of the area. I can personally strongly recommend Pistacchio, Caffe, Ciccolato and Nocciola. Truly a treat well worth the drive and will bring you back again and again. This is one of the culinary treasures of Brindisi. (there are many!) enjoy.
