Antico Caffe Minerva

Nice little chic café bar situated on a side street next to the Duomo. The coffee was good and served with complimentary chips and peanuts. Unlike many cafés I have visited here the owner who happened to be an Australian lady formerly married to a Sicilian was extremely pleasant and friendly.
The wait staff were pleasant too.

Kann die anderen Berichte nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Espresso super, nette Bedienung, ABER leider Toilette nicht funktionsfähig und 12 Euro für 3 Espresso, 1 Wasser und einen Latte Machiato für Sizilien zu teuer. Haben wir schon für die Hälfte bekommen.

Nice coffee place!

Lovely little boutique and caffe located in the beautiful town of Siracusa. We stopped in to have some gelato. A few lovely music boxes were on display so we bought one. A sign on the window said, «gluten free» so not sure what was offered here besides the gelato that was gluten free but we did see a handful of pastries. A few antiques for sale here too.
We decided to go South for a day trip and it was only a 45 minute drive to this quaint little island full of piazzas, hotels, fountains, caffe’s and shopping. Lucky for us on this night we got to see a parade! Hidden and away this island which was once a fort sits on the coast offering wonderful views of the Mediterranean. Beautiful place to go and spend the evening walking, shopping and dining.

Das Tiramisu ist geniessbar, der Café Minerva sehr lecker aber Service nicht sehr nett Allerdings gibt es gratis WLAN!!!
