If you’re in Sorrento at the height of the holiday season you can’t miss hearing the Toot, toot and Clang clang of the Sorrento Train. It’s just a little white land train which goes round the town and takes about half an hour. If you’ve just arrived, it’s a great way to get your bearings and if you’ve already been there a while it’s nice to be able to drive past your old haunts with a Toot, toot.
It costs EUR6 and you get a headset to plug into the audio guide which is available in several languages. We took the tour twice — that’s how fun it is (or how sad we are).
