Elegant bakery and coffee shop. On the corner of Piazza San Giacomo diagonal from the church. You can eat and drink at the counter if you are in a rush, or take a table in the separate space and linger and people watch. There also is a place to sit outside in the always shady lane leading away from the plaza. I get a cappuccino in the morning(the only time of the day Italians drink cappuccino, I’m told) and a caffe latte later in the day. I like that the latter is always served in a tall glass. I can’t resist the croissants with jam. My 5 year old loved the plain croissants. There are other bakery choices, though they are limited. A comfortable location. Some English spoken.
